Central Villa is attractively situated in a small lane in the centre of the lovely seaside town of Swanage. The sea is less than a 2 minute walk away. Swanage is renowned for its sandy beach and beautiful bay set amidst wonderful Purbeck countryside. This is part of the Jurassic coast and is a fantastic walking area. The coastal path, which is only 2 minutes walk away, leads westwards to the pretty Dorset villages of Langton & Worth Matravers, Kimmeridge and Lulworth.

There are wonderful rural views from the cottage and the large garden and terrace overlook the picturesque village of Corfe Castle which nestles below in the valley. There is a good public house for meals within a few minutes walk and almost immediate access to some of the most wonderful walks in Purbeck. Great for both walking and cycling. Priory Farm Cottage is a 'chocolate box' traditional thatched cottage surrounded by beautiful countryside and within a 10 minute drive of the sea at Lulworth. Here swimming, fishing trips, rib riides and the 'fossil forrest' can be enjoyed. There are also wonderful walks with the coast path extending westwards to Weymouth and eastwards to Studland. The cottage is furnished and equipped to a high standard. There is a 'king size' master bedroom, a smaller double bedroom and a charming single room. Outside there is a lovely fenced garden with large lawns and a patio area for enjoying meals plus a play area for children.

There are resident ducks and herons are frequent visitors.The cottage is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Corfe Castle.

This is a wonderful walking and cycling area with easy access to the World Heritage coastline. Footpaths lead almost directly from the cottage to the coast near Dancing Ledge. Visitors also have direct access across National Trust fields to nearby woodland and can follow footpaths along the valley to the pretty village of Corfe Castle.

Hill View Cottage has views across the Purbeck Hills from many of its windows, and provides very comfortable and attractive accommodation for five across three bedrooms. It is in an exceptionally good walking and cycling area, and is located within a short walk of a public house, village church and small shop. Fully renovated with great care in 2017, Hill View has a well equipped kitchen and open plan dining / living space, with a beautiful wood burner making a central focus, around which comfortable sofas are placed. Upstairs there are two bedrooms as well as a pretty single room, plus a newly installed shower room. The south facing garden is enclosed and has garden furniture and a BBQ, so guests can enjoy eating al fresco.

Visitors also have access to an outside shower room with w.c and basin which is great when you come in from the beach. The sandy beach of Swanage bay is withing a 5 minute walk. The cottage is situated on a lovely small peninsular on the west side of the bay. Wonderful walking area with direct access to the coastal path.

Clematis Cottage is beautifully situated in the charming village of Worth Matravers amongst the lovely rolling Purbeck hills. This is conservation village in "An area of outstanding natural beauty" within a 20 minute walk of the sea. The village is renowned for its stone cottages, pretty duck pond, tea shop/bistro and traditional public house where local ciders can be enjoyed by open fires or whilst enjoying the wonderful sea views in summer.
This pretty thatched cottage is beautifully situated in the village of Studland, with a vine and roses climbing up the cottage walls. It is in a perfect location for families looking for a holiday beside the sea, as the fine beach of Studland gently slopes into the water. Four miles of sandy shores are just a five minute walk away. Here, swimming, paddling and boating can be enjoyed. There is a cafe on the beach here, and within another five minutes’ stroll along the shoreline is a larger eatery run by the National Trust, as well as a small watersports centre offering boat trips, hire of pedalos, SUPs and dinghies. The South West Coast Path and several biking routes are also accessible from the cottage, and for those looking to enjoy a fine dining experience during their stay, the Pig on the Beach restaurant can also be reached by foot in less than five minutes.
Vine Cottage stands at the end of a small terrace of traditional Purbeck thatched cottages, and offers comfortable accommodation for six across three bedrooms. The kitchen is bright and airy with a tiled floor, and is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, washer drier and dining table with seating for six. The living room provides a very welcoming space for guests to relax, with comfortable seating, a TV with DVD and VCR player and lots of books and games for guests to enjoy. It is a characterful space with wooden beams and a feature fireplace with coal effect stove, providing a charming focus to the room. There is a cosy ground floor twin bedroom, which has a chest of drawers and hanging space. The bathroom is also on the ground floor, and has a bath with overhead shower, basin and WC.
Stairs lead up to a further twin and the master double bedroom, both of which are carpeted, very spacious and have attractive window seats. Ample storage is also provided in both of these bedrooms. WiFi, central heating and electricity are provided at the cottage without charge. A high chair can also be made available on request. Please note that dogs are not permitted at the cottage during July and August.
There is space to park one/two small/medium sized vehicles at the front of the cottage, with additional parking in residential lanes within a five minute walk of the cottage. Regular bus stop to the seaside resort of Swanage and over the chain ferry to Bournemouth is less than a two minute walk from Vine Cottage. A public house with cliff top views and a friendly village store with local produce, cheeses and ready meals are also within a short walk.
Vine Cottage is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided free of charge at Vine Cottage. Vine Cottage is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Friday to Friday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 14:00 and the normal departure time is 10:00. Short break weekend and midweek self catering holidays are available from 16th February 2018 to 22nd March 2018, 27th April 2018 to 17th May 2018, 28th September 2018 to 18th October 2018 and 26th October 2018 to 20th December 2018.

Studland is famous for its sandy beaches and nature reserve. Studland boasts both the opportunity of pleasant beach life and the possibility to spot a range of bird and animal. The bay of Studland lies protected from the coastal winds thanks to the monumental natural formations of Old Harry Rocks. Sandbanks and the nature reserve of Brownsea Island is only a short ferry trip away. The areas of heathland, known as Studland Heath and Godlingston Heath are listed as one of England's 31 most important natural reserves.
There is a particularly splendid coastal walk running between Swanage and Studland. By following a steep chalk ridge the walker can view the spectacular scenery from above, while getting a closer look at Old Harry Rocks and the bird life that roosts here.
It's for anyone who likes to live life adventurously - you don’t have to be a seasoned explorer to enjoy a Go Ape experience! Go Ape offers up to three hours of tree top fun. The Isle of Purbeck is a peninsular of land located in the South of Dorset and is famous for its sandy beaches, beautiful countryside and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site. The sea surrounds Purbeck on three sides and nowhere is for from the coast. Apart from the small town of Swanage, the Isle of Purbeck is made up of small rural hamlets and traditional villages.
The North side of Purbeck is dominated by a wooded and heathland nature reserve and where it meets the water of Poole Harbour it attracts a great deal of bird life. The East coast of Purbeck is known for the two long sandy beaches at Studland and Swanage but also for the limestone pillars at Old Harry's Rocks. Along the South Coast is the start of the Jurassic Coast which is characterised by impressive coastal formations like Dancing Ledge and Durdle Door but also for quiet coves and peaceful beaches for swimming.
Much of Purbeck has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the vast majority of Purbeck remains in the hands of nature. This is ideal for walkers and cyclists who are free to explore large areas of countryside and take in a number of wondrous locations.
