Lovely fishermans cottage located in the old part of Swanage within a one minute walk of the sea. Swanage is a small resort with a sandy beach which is ideal for paddling, swimming and boating. The cottage has accommodation on 3 floors and there are views across the sea to the Isle of Wight from the top floor. The cottage has two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom plus a small courtyard garden and parking for one car.

Central Villa is attractively situated in a small lane in the centre of the lovely seaside town of Swanage. The sea is less than a 2 minute walk away. Swanage is renowned for its sandy beach and beautiful bay set amidst wonderful Purbeck countryside. This is part of the Jurassic coast and is a fantastic walking area. The coastal path, which is only 2 minutes walk away, leads westwards to the pretty Dorset villages of Langton & Worth Matravers, Kimmeridge and Lulworth.

Seascape stands within a stones throw of the sea and enjoys lovely open sea views from several rooms. These views are panoramic, extending across the whole bay, from Ballard Down on the East to the westward extremity of Peveril point. The sandy beach of Swanage bay is only a half minute walk away. Here visitors can enjoy swimming, paddling and boating.

Delightfully situated old coastguard cottage on the waterfront at Swanage Bay. Open sea views from the two double bedrooms and sitting room. Visitors can also relax in the front garden with the sea a short stone's throw away. This lovely old stone cottage has two double bedrooms, 1 bunk bedroom and a family shower room with built in shower, basin and w.c; comfortable sitting room with sofa, arm chairs and wall mounted flat screen television; fitted kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, refrigerator, freezer. Visitors also have access to an outside shower room with w.c and basin which is great when you come in from the beach. The sandy beach of Swanage bay is withing a 5 minute walk. The cottage is situated on a lovely small peninsular on the west side of the bay. Wonderful walking area with direct access to the coastal path.

This lovely grade II listed stone cottage stands close to the centre of Swanage and is less than a 5 minute walk from the beach. Here the golden sand gently slopes into the water making it ideal for paddling and swimming. The town centre is a 3 minute walk away and is particularly pleasant with its small shops, various restaurants, cafes and public houses.

This delightful stone cottage with the green front door is beautifully situated overlooking the large scenic mill pond in the pretty, old part of Swanage. The pond is home to ducks and moorhens and is beside the charming church of St Mary’s. This is a lovely peaceful setting with no passing traffic. The cottage is within a pleasant 5 minute stroll of the beautiful sandy beach of the small seaside resort.
Bay House is a delightful property, in the centre of the holiday resort of Swanage, situated within a one minute walk of the sandy beach and beautiful bay, plus the small shops and various wine bars, cafes and restaurants. Swanage is wonderful place to enjoy swimming, paddling, boating and fishing, as well as diving and a variety of water sports. It is a fairly small coastal town set amidst the wonderful downs of the Isle of Purbeck. It is part of the renowned Jurassic Coast and is a wonderful walking and cycling area. The splendid Swanage Steam Railway provides a link with the picturesque and historic village of Corfe Castle and there is a good bus service providing links with Wareham, Studland, Poole and Bournemouth.
Bay House is a superb property, furnished with great attention to detail in a delightful rich and elegant country house style, providing comfortable accommodation for up to 14 across six bedrooms with en-suite bath/shower rooms over 3 main floors plus some half landings. It is an ideal base for those looking to spend their time beside the sea, with all of Swanage's prime attractions within a short walk of the house. Glimpses of the bay and coastline beyond can be enjoyed from some of the top bedrooms, and many of the rooms have beautiful high ceilings and attractive large windows.
The property boasts two adjoining sitting areas, one decorated with sumptuous sofas, an ornamental fireplace and upright piano, and a second with additional comfortable sofa seating and a large flat screen TV with Sky, including Sports and Movies and a DVD player. The rooms can be opened into one larger area when desired via wooden doors. There is a dining area where 14 can be accommodated to enjoy meals together; an open plan fitted kitchen equipped with a double electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, double fridge freezer and an excellent amount of cupboard space, plus a utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Bay House has WiFi throughout, and all of the bedrooms have televisions and some storage space.
Bay House has a delightful light and spacious master bedroom furnished in a rich style with a super king size bed, ample storage space and a flat screen TV plus an elegant ensuite bathroom with a Victorian style ball and claw foot bath, hand shower, WC and basin. (This bathroom can also be accessed from the landing if desired). The house has five additional lovely bedrooms comprised of three doubles, one twin and one triple room, all of which have either ensuite bath or shower rooms. One of the doubles has pretty floral wallpaper and enjoys sea glimpses, as does the twin bedroom which also has an attractive writing desk and seat. The triple room, on the top floor, has both a small shower room with basin, and a spacious bathroom with a bath and hand held shower, WC and basin, giving guests exceptionally flexible bathing options, ideal after a day spent at the beach. In addition to the ensuites, there is also a cloakroom and shower room accessed from the landings. Travel cot and high chair / inflatable single mattress available on request. Central heating and electricity without extra charge.
Bay House has an attractive decked terrace with outdoor furniture and climbing pot plants, where meals can be enjoyed al fresco. Cars can be parked in front of the property if space permits or in nearby residential roads within a short walk of the property. Weekly car parking permits are available on arrival via Phone and Pay at the Broad Street Long Stay car park, just five minutes walk from the property.
During quieter periods, Bay House offer low occupancy discounts for groups of eight or less, when using four bedrooms.
Bay House is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided free of charge at Bay House. Bay House is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Friday to Friday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 16:00 and the normal departure time is 10:00. Short break weekend and midweek self catering holidays are available from 13th April 2018 to 17th May 2018, 5th October 2018 to 18th October 2018 and 26th October 2018 to 20th December 2018.
Bay House has 260 days available for Purbeck self catering holidays from the 15th January 2018 to 31st December 2018. That means Bay House is 25.93% booked for this holiday periods with 13.0 weeks confirmed so far.
Swanage is best known for its sandy beach and large bay. The beach is popular with swimmers and games in the gentle surf. Swanage Steam Railway - Swanage is connected with the attractive village of Corfe Castle by the Swanage Steam Railway. Swanage Beach - The long sandy beach at Swanage is one of the principle destination on the Isle of Purbeck. The shallow bay at Swanage beach is idea for swimming and in the summer there are special events and activities for the family including a Punch and Judy show.

The Isle of Purbeck is a peninsular of land located in the South of Dorset and is famous for its sandy beaches, beautiful countryside and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site. The sea surrounds Purbeck on three sides and nowhere is for from the coast. Apart from the small town of Swanage, the Isle of Purbeck is made up of small rural hamlets and traditional villages.
The North side of Purbeck is dominated by a wooded and heathland nature reserve and where it meets the water of Poole Harbour it attracts a great deal of bird life. The East coast of Purbeck is known for the two long sandy beaches at Studland and Swanage but also for the limestone pillars at Old Harry's Rocks. Along the South Coast is the start of the Jurassic Coast which is characterised by impressive coastal formations like Dancing Ledge and Durdle Door but also for quiet coves and peaceful beaches for swimming.
Much of Purbeck has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the vast majority of Purbeck remains in the hands of nature. This is ideal for walkers and cyclists who are free to explore large areas of countryside and take in a number of wondrous locations.
