Pretty stone cottage which dates back to the 15th Century and is Grade II listed. It stands in St Lawrence, a small peaceful coastal village on the south coast of the Isle of Wight. The cottage is attractively furnished and well equipped with central heating and a wood burning stove. It is a small, well designed cottage which sleeps 3 in 2 bedrooms - all on one level.

This delightful detached stone cottage is located on a 400 acre arable farm which is also home to a small number of cattle and sheep. It is located on the south east side of the island within a 5 minute drive of the beach. This is a wonderful walking and cycling area with footpaths leading from the cottage across the farm and joining a network of routes including the renowned Stenbury Trail which links Ventnor with the central market town of Newport and its dramatic castle of Carisbrooke. The larger sandy beaches of Ventnor and Shanklin are within a 10 minute drive.

Baltija is beautifully situated in the wonderful semi rural coastal area of St Lawrence on the south of the Island. St Lawrence is renowned for it mild climate and is an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. Lanes and footpaths can be followed directly from the property to the sea at Woody Bay which is a ten to fifteen minute walk away.

A delightful detached house with a private heated swimming pool set in extensive private grounds and with coastal views from all the front facing rooms. It is very attractively situated in the small rural hamlet of Limerstone and is only 1.5 miles from the south west coast of the Isle of Wight. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty. There is access to a wonderful walking area with footpaths following the downs at the rear of Monkspath on the Worsley / Tennyson Trail towards the Needles.

This lovely stone barn is attractively situated on the outer edge of Wootton adjoining delightful countryside and less than a mile from the coast. The sandy beaches of the seaside resort of Ryde are within a 10 minute drive. Wootton has several small shops, a hotel and three public houses, two of which have restaurants overlooking the attractive estuary.

Woodington is a lovely Victorian Villa, with open sea views from upper rooms, surrounded by a large secluded garden. It is one of a small number of individual detached properties in the peaceful coastal area of Niton Undercliff with little passing traffic. This southerly part of the Isle of Wight is renowned for its mild temperate climate. The sea at Woody Bay is a 15 to 20 minute walk away and there are other small secluded bays at Niton. The larger sandy beaches of Ventnor and Shanklin are within a 15 to 20 minute drive. There is a charming 16th century public house at Niton Undercliff - a 25 minute walk. Niton is the nearest village with a second public house, general stores, pharmacy and library. Visitors can walk westwards to the village of Niton and join a beautiful section of coastal path leading to Freshwater and on to The Needles on the western tip of the Isle of Wight. Alternatively visitors can walk eastwards to Ventnor Botanical Garden and the beach at Steephill Cove.
Woodington is a lovely large, detached south facing, house offering attractive accommodation for 10 or more people in 5 bedrooms. It has been renovated and equipped with care to keep the character of the property with Victorian fireplaces, original windows and charming doors being retained. On the ground floor there is a well equipped fitted kitchen with an American style fridge freezer, an electric cooker and gas hob with 5 burners, a microwave and dishwasher; a lovely spacious dining room where meals can be enjoyed by the whole family; a cosy sitting room with sofas and a flat screen television with basic Sky package and DVD player; a larger sitting room with two sofas, an armchair and television with DVD player; a second dining area which can double as a games area with a one-armed bandit and a variety of games; a shower room with built in shower, basin and WC. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also provided.
Stairs lead up to five delightful spacious bedrooms. There are two lovely south facing double bedrooms with sea views; a further west facing double bedroom with sea views and a fourth double room with garden views plus a twin room with sea glimpses. (Two extra mattresses can be provided to enable two children to sleep separately or for additional guests to be accommodated). There is a well equipped bathroom with a deep freestanding bath and basin plus a separate WC. Central heating and electricity are provided without extra charge. Travel cot and high chair can be provided plus two extra mattresses. Wifi internet available. (We regret it is not possible to use the fire places or wood burning stoves).
The house has a large sunny garden with a variety of areas where visitors can relax. Garden furniture and a barbecue are provided so that meals can be enjoyed in the sunshine. There is a large lawn at the rear where games can be played and also a hot tub can be made available. In addition, in the central garage you will find a games room with table tennis, mini snooker & table top hockey. Parking is available for 5 or more cars in the drive. Storage space is available for bikes and outside equipment. Visitors should be aware that you can walk or cycle eastwards into St. Lawrence and Ventor but the undercliff is now a no through road so to travel eastwards the road needs to be followed via Niton to Whitwell and onwards to Ventnor, Shanklin and Sandown. The fact that the undercliff is a no through road has resulted in it being wonderfully peaceful.
Woodington is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided free of charge at Woodington. Woodington is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Friday to Friday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 16:00 and the normal departure time is 10:00. Short break weekend and midweek self catering holidays are available from and 26th October 2018 to 16th December 2018.

Niton is a small village with a traditional community feel. The local shop, cafe and butcher are all going strong supported by local people committed to keeping them. A village pub offers food and is a good place to meet your neighbours.
Niton Undercliff, which is the area closer to the coast and within a short walk of Niton, enjoys spectacular and panoramic views of the sea. This vantage point made it an ideal location for St Catherine's Light House which is located here. Nition Undercliff has an exellent public house and is a peaceful location without passing traffic.
Buddle Inn, Niton Undercliff - A traditional public house with lovely location overlooking the sea at Niton Undercliff. Niton Undercliff is signposted from the road between Niton and Ventnor. The South of the Isle of Wight is a wonderful mix of pretty beaches and dramatic coastal landscape. The sand and shingle beach at Ventnor is one of the more popular holiday locations but hidden gems such as Bonchurch and Steephill Cove are really worth a visit too.
The coastal path around the South Coast of the Isle of Wight is a particularly beautiful stretch to explore and passes a number of attractive sites which include Steephill Cove, Orchard Bay and St Catherine's Light House at Niton Undercliff. Some of this area has been prone to erosion so you must stick to the footpath and take heed of diversions.
