We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in the wonderfully comfortable cottage. We were made to feel extremely welcome from the moment of our arrival. Although the weather was unfortunately appalling, the cottage was a welcome relief from a traditional English Summer! We would recommend this cosy, well kept cottage to a family wanting a quiet relaxing break. A final note is that the private lake was a joy to fish and very fruitful!!! Cottage Rating: 5 Stars

A fantastic holiday with both Mum and daughter in tears at having to come home! From the moment we arrived the welcome by the family (in particular the youngest) was amazing. Wine, milk, tea and coffee were left for us in the kitchen. The setting is wonderful, the family really do make you feel welcome, without being intrusive. After helping to feed the goats and the chickens, you have an opportunity to buy the free range eggs and home made jams. The walks round the grounds and the views are magnificant. There is a small play area for young children as well as your own small garden. The only noise is that of happy animals and children! We have visited the Island many times before but I have never stayed in such a perfect and peaceful setting. Not for those seeking noise and entertainment! Cottage Rating: 5 Stars

We loved our stay at Parlour Cottage - it was more than we hoped for - spacious, light, top quality furnishings (most of them nicer than my own home) - the picures hanging on the walls were ones I would actually choose for my own home! Everything was tasteful, homely and comfortable. The farm istself is a beautiful manor house, the surrounding land beautiful and peaceful BUT you are only a short drive (20-25) mins from Sandown, Shanklin and Ventnor! We loved returning to the comfort of our country retreat at the end of each day. The owners dealt with the few queries we had very quickly and was both professional and friendly. Would recommend Parlour Cottage unreservedly and hope very much that we shall be able to stay there again... Cottage Rating: 4 Stars

We had a very comfortable stay and found the cottage to be all that we had expected from the deatils provided. We found the owners most polite, friendly and welcoming, the location of the cottage was fantastic and very quiet, with a large number of walking spots available to us. I would certainly look to book for another stay here and would also recommend it to friends and family. Our only main issue was the dust and cobwebs and a few spiders in the childrens bedroom. Overall a lovely stay. Cottage Rating: 4 Stars

Phillip - Sep 2010

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in the wonderfully comfortable cottage. We were made to feel extremely welcome from the moment of our arrival. Although the weather was unfortunately appalling, the cottage was a welcome relief from a traditional English Summer! We would recommend this cosy, well kept cottage to a family wanting a quiet relaxing break. A final note is that the private lake was a joy to fish and very fruitful!!! Cottage Rating: 5 Stars

John - Aug 2010

We had a very comfortable stay and found the cottage to be all that we had expected from the deatils provided. We found the owners most polite, friendly and welcoming, the location of the cottage was fantastic and very quiet, with a large number of walking spots available to us. I would certainly look to book for another stay here and would also recommend it to friends and family. Our only main issue was the dust and cobwebs and a few spiders in the childrens bedroom. Overall a lovely stay. Cottage Rating: 4 Stars

Tracey - Jun 2010
