It is a lovely, well equipped, cottage in a great location and the fact that Ventnor Park has just won the "Park of the Year" award was an added bonus. I am very grateful that my brother (currently on chemotherapy) was able to share in the joy of the place. Cottage Rating: 5 Stars

A fully equipped, everything worked, "gingerbread cottage" set within small but beautifully formed gardens with shallow stream, ducks & fish, putting green and outdoor gym and within walking distance of the town centre. Our family of 6 loved it and would be very happy to come for another visit. Cottage Rating: 5 Stars

This is a lovely cottage, very comfortable in a great setting. The equipment meant we wanted for nothing. every cooking implement was there, a rug for sitting out on, cushions for the outside sitting/eating area chairs (where we had a BBQ). Would live to stay here again. Cottage Rating: 5 Stars

Excellent location the photographs don't do the cottage justice - we've stayed at many self catering places. For location and facilities this is the tops. For children this place is excellent and lovely warm welcome - made to feel very special - couldn't ask any more of a holiday cottage. We liked it so much we've already booked for next year. This would go down as the best cottage we have stayed in as a family. We felt as if every tiny detail was taken care of and the attantion to detail in all the rooms made the cottage beautiful but homely. We intend to go back as soon as possible. We would reccomend the cottage and Island Cottage Holidays -Thank you. Cottage Rating: 5 Stars

South Isle of Wight Information

The South of the Isle of Wight is a wonderful mix of pretty beaches and dramatic coastal landscape. The sand and shingle beach at Ventnor is one of the more popular holiday locations but hidden gems such as Bonchurch and Steephill Cove are really worth a visit too.

The coastal path around the South Coast of the Isle of Wight is a particularly beautiful stretch to explore and passes a number of attractive sites which include Steephill Cove, Orchard Bay and St Catherine's Light House at Niton Undercliff. Some of this area has been prone to erosion so you must stick to the footpath and take heed of diversions.

Inland one finds a beautiful rural area with high downs from which panoramic views can be enjoyed. A Botanical garden at Ventnor takes advantage of a warm micro climate found in this part of the Island. View more South Isle of Wight Cottages
