This lovely two bedroom cottage is very attractively situated on Egypt Esplanade, near Cowes and is within a one minute walk of the sea. There are open sea views from the living room, double bedroom and garden. Briary Cottage has been furnished and equipped, with great care, to a high standard. Cowes and Gurnard are both within a short walk along the sea front. The views of the large yachts are amazing from the cottage during Cowes week which for 2018 is from the 4th August.

High Rising is situated within a few minutes walk of the sea at Gurnard. Here there is a quiet beach where visitors can enjoy paddling swimming and boating. A pleasant café and nearby public house provide refreshments. There is easy access to the west side of the Island with its quiet sandy coves and the nearby National Nature reserve of Newtown – an area of outstanding Natural Beauty and a wonderful area for walking and bird watching.

Greenside is very attractively situated in a quiet, prestigious residential area of Cowes. There are open views from the rear of the house across the golf course. It is less than half a mile from the beach at Gurnard. The centre of Cowes is a 15-minute walk from the house.

Situated on the South East side of the Island in an attractive farm courtyard with ancient Grade 11 listed barns and a traditional farmhouse which dates back to the 17th Century. Sainham Farm occupies a delightful position, lying at the foot of Appuldurcombe Down and above the picturesque village of Godshill, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This village is renowned for its church and pretty thatched cottages. The sandy beaches of Shanklin, Sandown and Ventnor are only a ten minute drive away.

This pretty thatched cottage is attractively situated in the grounds of Gillmans House, close to the centre of Brighstone - a charming village with many thatched cottages, an ancient church, post office, public house and National Trust shop. The village is surrounded by beautiful West Wight countryside and is less than a mile from the beach and National Trust coastline. Behind the village are the Brighstone Downs. Footpaths can be followed from here that lead to the renowned Tennyson Downs and The Needles. The spectacular coastal views from these downs are breathtaking.

This lovely detached cottage is beautifully situated in delightful countryside, with the most wonderful open views across rolling lawns and fields to the valley of the River Medina which gently meanders into the distance. It is a peaceful location on the 35 acre Medham Farm and visitors have open access to the private meadow, lake and beautiful woodland of the farm. This is an area rich in wildlife with frogs, newts and ducks in the pond the garden overlooks.

This cottage is situated in a quiet country lane on the outskirts of Godshill. It was originally the milking parlour of Lower Yard Farm. The surrounding fields are home to horses which belong to a small nearby riding school. Here you are in lovely countryside but the centre of the picturesque village of Godshill, with its pretty thatched cottages, restaurants and tea shops is only 3/4 mile away.

The Orangery is a lovely single storey wing of an impressive Edwardian House, set within extensive grounds, situated on the outer edge of Wootton, less than a mile from the coast and only a short drive from the sandy beaches of Ryde. Osborne House, the Island home of Queen Victoria is also within a 5 minute drive. There are wonderful open views across the gardens and nearby fields to the sea, and the Hampshire coastline can be seen in the distance. This is a good walking and cycling area with country lanes leading to the coast and visitors can join a nearby cycle track linking the market town of Newport and the famous coastal sailing town of Cowes.

This lovely stone cottage occupies an attractive position in a quiet country lane, on the outskirts of Godshill. Little Dormers is the wing of a lovely detached property with a large garden. It is attractively situated in a quiet close with beautiful sea views and is within a 12 minute walk of the quiet beach at Gurnard where swimming, paddling and boating can be enjoyed. Here there is also a public house and a pleasant cafe providing refreshments. The sea at Egypt Point is within an 8 minute walk of LIttle Dormers and an easy 20 minute stroll beside the sea takes you into the centre of Cowes - a small town famous as a sailing centre with narrow streets, pleasant small shops and several restaurants. By car their is easy access to the west side of the Island with its quiet sandy coves and downland walks. A few minutes drive, combined with taking the floating bridge to east Cowes leads to Osborne House, the former island home of Queen Victoria.
Little Dormers is completely self contained and in 2006 was renovated to the highest standards, with a wonderful terrace added so that full advantage could be made of the sea views. Visitors can relax whilst watching a variety of sailing boats and sea craft. A copy of the movements of cruise liners is usually left in the cottage as the ships can offer an added interest as they travel across the Solent after leaving Southampton. Little Dormers provides very attractive and comfortable accommodation for two people which is all on one level. It is centrally heated and has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard. There is a large open plan living room with patio doors opening on to the terrace. This delightful room is furnished with comfortable armchairs, a flat screen television, Freeview, DVD player and radio/CD/iPod dock. There is a very pleasant dining area and a well equipped kitchen area with lovely beech style units, a granite effect worktop, an electric cooker and ceramic hob, microwave, and refrigerator. Visitors also have access to a washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge freezer. There is an attractive twin bedroom with an en-suite lovely gleaming shower room with a power shower, basin and W.C. Heating and electricity at no extra charge. A travel cot/high chair can be provided for babies under 12 months. WiFi internet is available at this cottage.
Little Dormers has an area of decking with garden furniture so that meals can be enjoyed outside and visitors are welcome to wander through the beautiful, larger open plan garden of the cottage. A car can be parked in the drive close to the property entrance. Bus service and shop within 15 minutes walk.
Little Dormers has ground floor accommodation and is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided free of charge at Little Dormers. Little Dormers is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Saturday to Saturday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 14:30 and the normal departure time is 10:00. Little Dormers is located within a short walk of bus route number 1 which connects Cowes with the central bus hub at Newport and from where busses can be caught to all parts of the Island. Alternatively, walking to the East Cowes via the chain link ferry allows you to catch the number 4 bus and explore the East coast via Ryde. Cowes is famous sailing mecca and attracts sailors from around the world for the Cowes Week festival. Naturally there is much more to this little town and many simply come to enjoy the small shops and boutique stores as well as the vibrant atmosphere. The coast line either side of Cowes makes for pleasant walking and it is possible to walk along to Ryde to the East or Gurnard to the West. A stretch of beach towards Gurnard is an enjoyable place to enjoy a picnic and watch the yachts, fishing boats and cruise liners.

The North of the Isle of Wight is a wonderfully varied location with beautiful coastal areas and historic sites. The main towns in the North are Yarmouth in the North West, Gurnard and Cowes in the centre of the Northern coastline, and Ryde in the North East. There is a sandy beach at Ryde, a shingle and sand beach at Gurnard and a long shingle beach at Cowes.
The principle town here is Cowes where a vibrant sailing scene exists and culminates in the yearly Cowes Week festival. Yarmouth also enjoys a strong connection with the sea and has its own festival of Gaffers which attracts a large number of brightly decorated boats.
