Noise from the accommodation above (crying baby, footsteps, banging) could be heard clearly and spoiled our stay somewhat. In addition, the water pressure is very poor and the bath tap dribbles water out (no other taps work whilst the bath is dribbling). Otherwise a great place to stay! Cottage Rating: 3 Stars

10 mins to esplanade, full sky & wifi access. Nice cottage but with issues. Needs 'tlc'. There were mice below floor, causing noise during night, owners immediately refunded cost, had this checked, no mice found. Not convinced at all as we recorded the noise. Very tight car park access. South Isle of Wight Information

The South of the Isle of Wight is a wonderful mix of pretty beaches and dramatic coastal landscape. The sand and shingle beach at Ventnor is one of the more popular holiday locations but hidden gems such as Bonchurch and Steephill Cove are really worth a visit too.

The coastal path around the South Coast of the Isle of Wight is a particularly beautiful stretch to explore and passes a number of attractive sites which include Steephill Cove, Orchard Bay and St Catherine's Light House at Niton Undercliff. Some of this area has been prone to erosion so you must stick to the footpath and take heed of diversions.

Inland one finds a beautiful rural area with high downs from which panoramic views can be enjoyed. A Botanical garden at Ventnor takes advantage of a warm micro climate found in this part of the Island. View more South Isle of Wight Cottages
