Self-catering holiday accommodation in Bembridge

The pretty seaside village of Bembridge is the perfect place to go if you are looking for somewhere full of traditional character and charm on the Isle of Wight. With a strong local community, this welcoming village situated between Seaview and Sandown has a lovely selection of small shops, including an excellent delicatessen and tearooms. There are also some good cafes, a number of pubs and restaurants offering locally-sourced produce.

Home to a number of historic buildings of interest, a popular route is to take the walk to the 18th Century Bembridge Windmill which is managed by the National Trust and open to the public. For more adventurous activities, there is a well-established riding school for all levels of rider and ample opportunity to learn and practice adventure sports, including kayaking, paddle boarding and mountain biking.

The beach has a 200-metre long pier and lifeboat station which characterises the coast, it makes for a pleasant view. For days out to other nearby seaside resorts, you can take the country road to both Seaview to the north and Sandown to the south, both taking under fifteen minutes by car.
