It is nestled at the end of a short lane and is close to various cycle routes. There is also almost direct access to footpaths down to the sea at Seacombe and to the Southwest coastal path that are accessible without crossing a road. The iconic Jurassic Coast is a 10 to 15 minute walk away and the popular Square and Compass pub is within a five-minute stroll. Garden furniture and loungers are provided along with a BBQ so guests can enjoy eating outside. Towards the bottom of the garden there are fruit trees which guests can enjoy eating in season. The garden has been kept as a great wildlife habitat with Tawny Owls badgers rabbits and pheasants being frequent visitors. Complimentary freshly laid free range hen's eggs are provided whenever available.

The kitchen has a full sized fridge-freezer, double electric oven and hob, plus a small island housing additional worktop space, sink and a dishwasher. A striking sofa and armchair are placed around a wood burning stove with an attractive mosaic panel beneath it creating a beautiful feature in the room. A pretty glass dining table and two chairs are positioned by the windows. TV with Freesat are also provided along with complimentary WiFi. Central heating and electricity are without extra charge. Beautiful cottage in a very scenic area. The cottage was very well maintained and everything was spotlessly clean. The cottage is very warm and cosy. Lovely cottage, has all the necessary amenities. Very quiet and cosy with the fire. Close enough to Swanage to pop in and fetch fish and chips, short walk into the village (1/2 mile) to the pub and village tea rooms, beware of the steep hill on the way back! We enjoyed a great break here.

Our stay at The Studio was excellent and we found the place to be a wonderful location for walks. The garden was a great bonus for our two dogs and the views from the bench at the end of the garden wonderful. This is a really superb, well equipped and cosy place to stay. The location is fantastic. Although its attached to the main property, it has its own exclusive garden area, and the owners are on hand should there be anything amiss.
