My family and I have just spent weeks holiday at White Webs which is an excellent property and one of the best we have stayed in. Every comfort was catered for, including the dogs, and it had stunning views at the back overlooking the Purbeck hills. Its location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area but, despite it being slightly off the mRead moreain road, the traffic noise was rather disturbing to those in the front bedrooms at night. However, we were there at the busiest time of the year. Hide

Lovely property well equipped. Comfortable and a fabulous location. Not well catered to for small children. Warning should be given for how steep the garden is and the potential danger for under 5s especially the half covered pond. Clearly this was an owner occupied property at one time with a fabulous garden. Now despite references to an on-site gRead moreardener it is poorly maintained and full of weeds Hide

My wife and I had a fantastic weeks stay and felt very much at home. The accommodation layout and space was large and the provision of Comfy dressing gowns was a really nice touch. The fully equipped kitchen included a welcome basket of teas, coffee and biscuits and basic supplies (dishwashers/washing machine tabs/washing up liquid/cloths/tea towels/kitchen roll etc.) The views from the lounge and dining rooms were beautiful and relaxing, exactly as the description and photographs; for us it was a little too chilly to sit on the veranda and enjoy such! The home is ideally located to access all the renowned Isle of Purbeck costal walks and other areas of outstanding natural beauty. In particular the Studland National Reserve with its outstanding beaches and sand dunes. The Swanage Tourist Information Centre is well worth a visit, the staff were most helpful, l providing maps and pamphlets on the best that Dorset has to offer. In the town The Fish Place serves the best take away fish and chips, Heymans Bakery and The Purbeck Deli are excellent for local provisions. We look forward to planning future stays at White Webs. We would not normally choose a modern "cottage". However, the photo of the front of the property does not do it justice. White Webs is spacious and furnished and equipped to a high standard. It was very well cleaned. There are great views to the rear.
