This part of the Island is renowned for its excellent cycling and walking with plenty of public footpaths and bridleways within a short walk of the property, including the Tennyson Trail which extends from The Needles on the western tip of the Island to Carisbrooke on the outskirts of the county town of Newport. The Isle of Wight Coastal Path and the beach at Brighstone Bay are also within easy reach of the property (approximately one mile), whilst the many coves along this stretch of coastline enable visitors to enjoy swimming, fishing and paddling. In addition, one of the Islands best kept secrets at nearby Compton Bay offers two miles of contrasting golden and dark sands with the opportunity to bodyboard and surf. The area is also renowned for its fossils.

In addition, a stunning raised terrace provides the perfect sunny setting for al fresco dining, enjoying the breath-taking sunsets or simply stargazing into the nights dark skies which this part of the Island is renowned for. Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
