Pretty thatched cottage offering attractive period-style accommodation for six guests, situated in the village of Studland, just a five-minute walk to the fantastic sandy beach.

This thatched cottage is beautifully situated in the village of Studland with a vine and roses climbing up the cottage walls. It is in a perfect location for families looking for a holiday beside the sea as the fine beach of Studland gently slopes into the water. Four miles of golden shores are just a five-minute walk away. Here, swimming, paddling and boating can be enjoyed. There is a cafe on the beach and within another five-minute stroll along the shoreline is a larger eatery run by the National Trust, as well as a water sports centre offering boat trips, hire of pedalos, SUPs and dinghies. The South West Coast Path and several biking routes are also accessible from the cottage, and for those looking to enjoy a fine dining experience during their stay, the Pig on the Beach restaurant can also be reached by foot in less than five minutes.

Vine Cottage stands at the end of a small terrace of traditional Purbeck thatched cottages and offers comfortable accommodation for six across three bedrooms. The kitchen is bright and airy with a tiled floor and is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, washer-drier and dining table with seating for six. The living room provides a welcoming space for guests to relax with comfortable seating a TV with DVD and VCR player and lots of books and games for guests to enjoy. It is a characterful space with wooden beams and a feature fireplace, with coal effect stove providing a charming focus to the room.

There is a cosy ground floor twin bedroom which has a chest of drawers and hanging space. The bathroom is also on the ground floor and has a bath with overhead shower, basin and WC. Stairs lead up to a further twin and the master double bedroom, both of which are carpeted, spacious and have attractive window seats. Ample storage is also provided in both of these bedrooms. WiFi, central heating and electricity are provided at the cottage without charge. A high chair can also be made available on request.

Please note that dogs are not permitted at the cottage during July and August. There is space to park one/two small/medium sized vehicles at the front of the cottage with additional parking in residential lanes within a five-minute walk of the cottage. There is a regular bus stop to the seaside resort of Swanage and over the chain ferry to Bournemouth in less than a two-minute walk from Vine Cottage. A public house with cliff top views and a friendly village store with local produce, cheeses and ready meals are also within a short walk.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Please note there is a refundable £100 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.
