The property is within a few hundred metres of the long sandy beach and the town’s historic pier. Also nearby are the Swanage Museum, the Prince Albert Gardens and a choice of great restaurants, shops, pubs and cafes. Less than half a mile from both Durlston Bay and Swanage Bay, this beautiful house provides relaxing accommodation in a glorious part of the Purbeck region.

This delightful holiday house is located towards the bottom of a steep hill leading from the High Street to Durlston Country Park (1 mile away) and is set over three floors. Three steps lead up to the front door which leads into a hall with an original mosaic-tiled floor. On the ground floor you will find a light and stylish kitchen/diner with a bay window, Victorian feature fireplace and a farmhouse table perfect for sharing a family meal. The ground floor also features a twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room, and a separate bathroom. On the first floor you can relax in the pretty lounge which has plenty of comfortable seating. This floor also has a double bedroom with en-suite shower room. The remaining two bedrooms are on the second floor: one twin room and a spacious double room with views across the rooftops towards the bay and an en-suite shower room.

This lovely property is perfect for exploring this idyllic part of Dorset. You can visit bustling towns including Wareham (11.5 miles), Corfe Castle (6 miles) and Studland (3.5 miles) or enjoy breathtaking coastal walks. Local attractions include The Blue Pool (9 miles), Dancing Ledge (3 miles) and the nature reserves on the glorious Brownsea Island (7 miles).

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely spacious house ideally located for all the Swanage attractions or visiting further afield in Dorset. Tastefully decorated with lots of charm and home comforts. Well equiped kitchen. Suitable for families.

The house was in a fantastic location, just a few minute walk to the town centre. The house was really clean and there were a few nice touches to the accommodation. Toilet roll, kitchen roll, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets to name a few. There were lots of pictures on the wall making it feel homely. The use of space in the kitchen was excRead moreellent and we spent many evenings playing games there. The property asked for black bin only so no recycling. Hide
