This charming wing is part of a larger Edwardian property, it sleeps six people amongst three delightful bedrooms and is a short drive down to the Isle of Wight coastline with fantastic sandy beaches.

Westwood House is an Edwardian property surrounded by its own seven acres of garden. An impressive private drive leads to the house. It is situated on the outer edge of Wootton, less than a mile from the coast and only a short drive from the sandy beaches of Ryde and Appley. There are open views across the gardens and nearby fields to the sea. This is a fantastic walking and cycling area with country lanes leading to the coast, and visitors can join a nearby cycle track linking the market town of Newport and the famous coastal sailing town of Cowes.

The West Wing of Westwood House has been furnished and equipped with care in a traditional style. It is self-contained and centrally heated. There is a large open-plan living area with farmhouse style fitted kitchen equipped with wooden units, an eye level electric cooker and grill, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer; an attractive dining area and a sitting room with sofas and chairs, plus television with DVD player. Doors open on to a sunny terrace. On the ground floor there is also a cloakroom with WC, basin and washing machine.

Upstairs there are three lovely bedrooms - a double bedroom with a super-king bed and an en-suite shower room with a WC and basin; a second double room with stunning views of the surrounding countryside with the sea in the distance, which also has an en-suite shower room with shower, W.C. and basin; a second twin bedroom with garden view, and a family bathroom just across the landing with bath, hand shower, basin and W.C. Central heating and electricity is at no extra charge. WiFi internet is provided.

The gardens of Westwood House are comprised of extensive lawns at the front of the house and a terrace, plus areas of lawn, shrubberies and stone pathways to the rear. Visitors have their own secluded terrace with garden furniture so that meals can be enjoyed in the sunshine, and a large lawn where games can be played. There is an abundance of wild life in the garden with birds, red squirrels and rabbits. Two cars can be parked close to the front of The West Wing.

There is a regular bus service to Ryde and Newport, plus public house and well stocked general stores within ten minutes walk. Wootton village has a variety of shops, a hotel and three public houses, two of which have restaurants overlooking the estuary. Nearby places to visit include Osborne House, the Isle of Wight home of Queen Victoria and the Steam Railway.

Beautiful house set in peaceful grounds. The west wing has all the basic things you need for a comfortable stay and is central to lots of places to visit.

This cottage is in a lovely ,peaceful location with great views from the windows. Very spacious , very good shower plenty of hot water. Lovely views from all the windows. Comfortable bed in master bedroom.

This was a great location near to the wightlink ferryport at Fishbourne. The house was a wing of a much larger mansion and the garden area allocated was great for the children to play football and other games. There were pleny of nearby attractions such as, the IOW steam railway, the butterfly farm and many footpaths for walking.
