Wootton has several small shops and a few public houses, some even featuring restaurants overlooking the pretty estuary. Some great walking and cycling routes are within easy reach of the property. The golden beaches of the seaside resort of Ryde are within a short drive. Osborne House, the island home to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert along with the steam railway are also close by.

Upon entering the barn there is a pleasant dining area with wood burner, which forms part of a dividing wall between it and the snug - a wonderful place to relax in front of a real fire. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. There is a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer and alongside the kitchen is a pleasant breakfast area with French doors leading out to the garden beyond. There are three bedrooms located on the ground floor, two charming doubles, neighbouring the bathroom with hand held shower over bath and WC, and one king size boasting French doors that open directly onto the garden. The shower room with shower and WC completes this level. Taking the stairs from the ground floor snug, you will reach the wonderfully spacious lounge area with its inviting sofas, chair and TV. The king-size master bedroom is also located on the first floor, a charming room boasting breath-taking views across the countryside. It has a step down to an en-suite bathroom with a claw foot bath, separate shower and WC.

Outside there is a fully fenced and gated garden that encompasses nearly an acre of land. There is a patio area with garden furniture with a decked area located off the ground floor king-size bedroom plus a large lawn which is ideal for relaxing or playing games. Much of the garden is bordered by fields with incredible views. There is off-road parking for three cars.

This was an absolutely delightful house, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Had breakfast out at the front in the sun (usually!) every morning and adults in the small courtyard at the back every evening (away from the bedrooms and children!). Not that much within walking distance but 15 minutes to Hyde beaches and less than 30 minutes to sandRead morey Sandown. If any nearer would probably cost a bomb so very reasonable value for money, very quiet location and lovely open space garden. Hide

The Barn is a beautiful, spacious property, in a lovely quiet location. There are 2 large bedrooms & 2 smaller bedrooms, a large lounge and kitchen area with table. The garden is big, with a football goal, however the grass was very long, so we had to use the park nearby. The property was let down by poor cleanliness. I had to request for cleaning Read moremanager to come and re-clean. The Cedars pub nearby serves amazing hot food. Despite the lovely Barn, I wouldn't recommend due to the poor cleanliness Hide

Wonderful holiday! Booked for a 70th birthday celebration and finding a bottle of wine and selection of cupcakes on arrival was a lovely touch. The house was warm, cosy and immaculately presented. All of us had a great time and considering the time of year (and the awful weather we had), we used the house heavily. The selection of games were apprecRead moreiated and well used and all facilities perfect. Highly recommend. Hide
