This characterful stone barn is attractively situated on the outer edge of Wootton, adjoining stunning countryside and less than a mile from the coast. The golden beaches of the seaside resort of Ryde are within a ten- minute drive. Wootton has several small shops and three public houses, two of which have restaurants overlooking the attractive estuary. The Barn is in a great walking and cycling area. Osborne House, the island home of Queen Victoria, and the steam railway are within a ten-minute drive.

The Barn is one of two adjoining properties which have been converted from an impressive ancient barn. The property has been designed to provide light and spacious accommodation with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, beautiful stone and slate floors. The property is centrally heated and has been equipped with great care to provide excellent accommodation for ten people in four bedrooms.

On the ground floor there is a charming dining room with a wood burning stove and a cosy sitting area - a wonderful place to relax in front of a real fire. A washing machine/tumble dryer is available in a separate utility room. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor; two charming double bedrooms and a particularly spacious room with two sets of bunk beds and French doors opening directly into the garden. There is a shower room with a basin and W.C. and a separate bathroom with a bath, hand shower, basin and W.C.

Upstairs you will find a spacious sitting room with sumptuous sofas and chairs, flat screen television with DVD player, and a master bedroom with a super king-size bed and mesmerising views across fields to the sea. It has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, separate shower, basin and W.C. One folding bed for a child plus a travel cot and high chair can be provided. Central heating and electricity are available without extra charge. WiFi internet access.

The Barn has an extensive garden of three quarters of an acre which is fenced and gated. There are two patio areas with garden furniture, plus a lawn which is ideal for relaxing and playing games. Much of the garden is bordered by fields with extraordinary views. Three cars can be parked in the drive and there is a regular bus service to Ryde and Newport within ten minutes walk away.

What a fabulous property. Everything you could possibly need for your holiday and spotlessly clean too. The welcome pack was a nice touch. We loved the upstairs lounge and the spacious accommodation. The property is ideally placed to explore the island and as its almost on the Coastal Path there are plenty of walks.

Lovely barn and a wonderful large garden that was very well used for raquet games, football, netball, boules and more. My grandaughters loved their bedroom and amazing selection of games within. Really appreciated extra touches in a very well furnished and comfortable holiday home.
