A perfectly positioned, quaint two-bedroom cottage, located in the heart of the bustling seaside resort of Ventnor. An ideal choice for your family domestic getaway.

Your family of four or group of friends will enjoy this lovely cottage situated in a popular seaside resort in the south of the Isle of Wight. The area boasts its own microclimate, ideal for strolling the coastal paths, soaking up the sun at the beach or exploring the towns from this charming home.

On entering the cottage’s hallway, you can hang up damp towels and store your sandy flip flops. Head through to the kitchen/diner which is bright and spacious, and cook up a storm for the whole group. Enjoy eating together at the four-seater dining table and play some board games of an evening. Rest tired legs in the cosy lounge while watching your favourite shows on the Smart TVs. Upstairs are two double bedrooms and a family bathroom. A single bed is available as well, should guests prefer to have separate beds. Through the doors in the dining area is an enclosed patio garden which has outdoor furniture, perfect for an evening drink in the sunshine.

Situated in the bustling town of Ventnor, you will be close to everything you need. The town has a popular, golden beach, plenty of pubs and restaurants and a Botanic Garden that is well worth the visit. Visit the spectacular and secluded Steephill Cove (1.5 miles), only accessible on foot via the coastal path from Ventnor seafront. If you love walking, take a visit down the Devil’s Chimney, a narrow and steep path set into a cliff face (1 mile), or meander the highs and lows of the National Trust’s Ventnor Downs. For fabulous family days out, head to Amazon World Zoo (6 miles) or the fantastically preserved Brading Roman Villa (7.5 miles).

Beautifully equipped cottage ideal for singles, couples & families looking for a relaxing or active holiday on the Isle of Wight. Great location minutes from beach, shops & restaurants. Ventnors unique microclimate enables Mediterranean, Australian & South African plants to thrive Ventnor & especially at the fantastic Ventnor Botanical Gardens. Paula has a well presented cottage with attention to detail and small touches throughout this cottage which give it such a homely feel. We found the cottage to be well equipped and centrally located to both the beach and town center. All round a well cared for cottage with all round good facilities-we would certainly recommend to anyone!!

The cottage was very clean, comfortable, well appointed (everything worked), with nice decor and in a great location. We stayed over Easter and the host left an Easter egg for the kids (and a welcome bottle of fizz for us) which was very kind.
