A comfortable, cosy and well-equipped cottage, ideal for 2/3, above a tea room, which is well worth a visit. It is also less than 5 minutes walk to two good pubs/restaurants if you don't feel like cooking. Well situated as a base for visiting most of the island.

Comfortable and spacious cottage (sleeps 3), but with low beams, especially in the living room and entering the bathroom. No shower, only shower attachment to bath, but no shower screen. Minor issues were dealt with quickly by the owner. Well equiped, and close the bus stop and to all the facilities in this quaint village.

This was a generally well presented and pretty cottage. There were a few steps in the property that might prove difficult for the older or less mobile, but it didnt prove difficult for us. Very pleasant and helpful owner and the small tea rooms below proved very handy with lovely food. We had a lovely holiday in a gorgeous setting. Great places to Read moreeat nearby and a range of up market shops just at the end of the road. Would definitely recommend this property to holiday in. Hide

Very roomy thatched cottage above owner's tearooms in a fabulously located quaint village. Street parking available in Church Hill, a road about 3 or 4 mins walk up the path from the front door past the parish church. Astrid the owner was very helpful in connecting the washing machine to the plumbing, providing us an airer and helping us understandRead more how to use the stove. Would happily stay here again. A lovely flat, well looked after and in a handy location in the beautiful village of Godshill. Car parking is a short walk away, but free. The landlords are handy and helpful, but unobtrusive.

We found the village to be central to all places we wanted to visit. The cottage was very comfortable with plenty of room. It was great having a back garden space to take the dog out at night. We parked at the top of the hill, recommended by Astrid which was great. We had a lovely time.
