It’s easy to see how this apartment was given its name. It’s almost impossible to get closer to the beautiful harbour and sandy beach than in this contemporary and comfortable two-bedroomed apartment, with every amenity you could need for a Dorset break.

Situated in the heart of Swanage and overlooking the town square, this pretty first-floor apartment is perfect for a couple or a small family looking for accommodation which is close to everything the town has to offer. The town’s museum and heritage centre are just across the square and you will be spoilt for choice by a wide range of fantastic shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes in the immediate area. The beach, harbour front and promenade are just a few metres away, and the famous Victorian-era pier is within a quarter of a mile.

On entering the property, a stairway leads up from the shared hall to the first floor where you will find this light and tastefully decorated family apartment. Heading into the bright and spacious L-shaped open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner you will find a comfortable lounge area which is perfect for unwinding in at the end of a great day. There’s a charming dining area by the bay window with views out to sea, and the kitchen, which is set around the corner, is perfect for preparing your favourite meals. You will also find two cosy bedrooms: a double room and a bunk bedroom ideal for children. There’s also a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath.

The apartment is surrounded by a fantastic variety of great places to eat and drink and is within quarter of a mile of the Prince Albert Gardens and The Downs. The South West Coast Path runs nearby, leading up to Peveril Point (0.5 miles) then down toward the beautiful Durlston Bay. Away from the town you can explore Durlston Country Park (1 mile), Dancing Ledge (2.5 miles) and Chapman’s Pool (5.5 miles). Inland, you can discover Corfe Castle (5.5 miles), Hartland Moor National Nature Reserve (8 miles) and The Blue Pool (8.5 miles).

Very well equipped, great location, comfortable beds, small kitchen but more than adequate for a holiday property, plenty of kitchen equipment too.

A lovely flat with some excellent views of the bay. Very comfortable rooms, perfect for a small family retreat to the bustling town of Swanage.

Excellent property on a perfect location! a bit high prices for our 5 nights though. Well equiped and very clean, except for the sink in the bathroom. Perhaps missed during the last cleaning. otherwise we had a amazing stay in the house.
