Perfectly situated on the seafront with wonderful panoramic sea views. Enjoy the fun seaside town of Swanage and explore the spectacular Jurassic coastline.

Seascape stands within a stones throw of the sea and enjoys spectacular open views of the water from several rooms. These views are panoramic, extending across the whole bay from Ballard Down on the East to the westward extremity of Peveril point. The sandy beach of Swanage bay is only a half minute walk away. Here visitors can enjoy swimming, paddling and boating. Swanage is a traditional seaside resort with Punch and Judy shows, amusements and a Victorian pier. Alongside this, there is a diving centre and a variety of interesting shops, restaurants and public houses. These are all within a two or three minute walk. The town is also renowned for its steam railway which links the seaside town to the historic village of Corfe Castle.

The property is adjacent to the coastal path and visitors can walk along the promenade and over Ballard Down into Studland with its sand dunes and four miles of golden beach. The walk westwards leads to Durleston and extends onwards along a beautiful stretch of Purbeck coastline passing close to several traditional villages. Worth Matravers provides a pleasant place to stop with a traditional public house with Purbeck ciders.

Seascape is a well maintained property positioned on the sea front above a local bakers and cafe. In warm weather there are tables and chairs outside the shop so that local Dorset cream teas or homemade soup can be enjoyed in the sunshine. A gated flight of steps leads up to the property and the accommodation is on two floors. Seascape has been furnished and equipped with care. It has fitted carpets and is heated with thermostatically controlled, wall-mounted electric heaters. It provides attractive, light and airy accommodation for six people in three bedrooms.

On the first floor there is a spacious fitted kitchen with an electric hob and cooker, microwave, sink and refrigerator with small freezer section; a pleasant dining area; a large sitting room which extends across the full width of the property and has big windows which can be opened back to enable visitors to relax, enjoying the sights and sounds of the sea which is in such very close proximity. This room is furnished with a comfortable sofa and chairs, and a flat screen television/Freeview/DVD/video. On this floor there is also a bathroom with a bath, overhead shower, basin and WC.

Stairs lead up to three attractive bedrooms. There are two double bedrooms with basins and fitted wardrobes - one has the added advantage of open sea views and a television with Freeview. The third bedroom is a bunk bedroom which also enjoys sea views. A travel cot and high chair can be provided. Heating and electricity are without extra charge. There are no washing machine facilities at this property, but there is a launderette in the town. One car can be parked off road within a few yards of the property. There is a steam train service to Corfe Castle, and regular bus service to Poole, Bournemouth and the Purbeck villages within three to four-minutes walk. Nearby places to visit include the ancient castle at Corfe, Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum and several National Trust properties including Kingston Lacey.

Good central position, you don't need to use the car every day which is nice. Fantastic sea views from living room and bedroom, lovely to watch the coming and going of the tides and the different sea birds gathering at certain times of day. Even our 5yr old was fascinated.
