Appealing three-storey town house close to Shanklin Beach and town centre. This spacious accommodation is a superb choice for families looking to tour the Isle of Wight.

The lovely town house is one of a pair of properties very attractively situated in the delightful small seaside resort of Shanklin on the south east coast of the Isle of Wight. It enjoys lovely open sea views from its balconies and from the sitting room and second double bedroom. This is combined with open views from the front facing rooms across the coastal aspect of the town towards lovely downland and the Culver Cliffs. The lovely sandy beach of Shanklin is within a 10 minute walk. The sand gently slopes down into the water making it ideal for swimming and paddling. The seafront offers various places to eat plus traditional seaside entertainments and crazy golf. There is easy access via a zig zag path or a lift which descends to the Esplanade. The charming old village of Shanklin is less than a 5 minute walk away. Here there are a variety of pretty thatched cottages, tea shops, a public house and Shanklin Chine which provides another point of access to the sea. Also nearby is Shanklin Theatre and the shopping centre of the town.

Sandcastles has been built on three levels to take full advantage of the views. From the ground floor stairs ascend to a landing with double doors opening into a superb and spacious living room with sea views, comfortable sofas, a flat screen television with Freeview; a delightful dining area with Juliette balcony, a full balcony with an open view of the sea; a superb fitted kitchen with an electric cooker and ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and washing machine. Also on this floor is a spacious cloakroom with WC and basin. Stairs lead up to three delightful bedrooms - a lovely room with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, balcony and a window with an open sea view; a master bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe, Juliette balcony with views across the downs and an en-suite shower room with built in shower, basin and WC; a single bedroom which can accommodate two with the addition of the full size trundle bed; a lovely tiled family bathroom with a bath, overhead shower, basin and WC. A travel cot/high chair can be provided. The house is centrally heated and double glazed. Heating and electricity without extra charge. Complimentary high speed WiFi provided.

Sandcastles has a lovely enclosed terrace with garden furniture so that meals can be enjoyed in the sunshine. Visitors can park one car in a garage beneath the property and a second car directly behind it on the driveway. A train service links Shanklin, with Sandown, Brading and Ryde with interlinked boat services to the mainland at Portsmouth. The bus services from Shanklin is also very good making this an ideal location to come without a car.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Lovely place to stay in Shanklin. We loved the position and the views from the balconies. Modern and clean. We had contact with the housekeeper and the owner who were both very helpful. Perfect for me, my husband and two teenage children.

Modern, well equipped with everything you could possibly want, comfortable and we just loved it. Ideal location only 3-4 minutes to The High Street, closest shop & Bar. Perfect!
