A lovely pet friendly family holiday home, situated on the southern side of the Island, ideally located to explore the wonderful selection of attractions on offer nearby.

Located in the pretty village of Wroxall, this is an ideal base to explore all the delights on offer on the Isle of Wight. The beautiful village of Godshill is just a few miles away and is easily accessible by car or on foot, with an array of shops and tea rooms along with it's famous church it is a lovely place to visit. Situated within this beautiful rural setting, it is a wonderful place to enjoy the array of walks and cycle routes with them being some of the best on the Island. Why not indulge in a day or two at the beach, with a wonderful selection of beaches and resorts to choose from you are truly spoiled for choice. Other nearby attractions include the Donkey Sanctuary, Ventnor Botanical Gardens and Ventnor Golf Course with plenty of views to admire.

Attached to the owners home, yet with privacy assured, step through the entrance of this cottage into the stylish dining room with a table and chairs enough for the whole group and a Bluetooth music speaker, with double doors leading into the kitchen it’s a great space to enjoy some quality time all together. The kitchen comes complete with an electric Range oven and gas hob, American fridge/freezer, microwave, and washing machine. You will find the lounge at the front of the house and after a full-on day exploring the Island why not sit back and relax in front of the wood burner whilst enjoying your favourite film on the Smart TV. Head up to the first floor where both bedrooms are located. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and boasts countryside views and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, separate shower and WC with the twin bedroom benefitting from an en-suite shower room and WC of its own.

There is off-road parking for two cars on the shared drive to the left at the front of the house. The small courtyard garden with outdoor furniture at the side of the house makes for a wonderful area to sit out and enjoy some alfresco dining whilst taking in the climate of the south coast.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This is a well presented cottage. Recently redecorated throughout. Set in beautiful countryside but within 20 - 30mins of many of the islands main tourist attractions and only 25mins from Cowes. Ideal for a family of 4 in 2 bedrooms both with ensuite facilities. Countryside walks in footpaths for dogs are just a few steps away from the property. We have just returned from staying 4 nights at Rhoda Cottage and on arrival we tried to start the central heating and phoned the owner who lives in an annex at the back of the cottage. She informed us that she had COVID so therefore couldnt come round to see us. Very well situated in lovely countryside. Peaceful, light, comfortable, loads of hot water, decent heating and so on. Spolied by the absence of garden access (the gardn clearly was used by people who lived at the back of the rental). Although the kitchen had a good and newish range cooker/fridge freezer/washing machine, it was ancient and poorly eqRead moreuipped. The drive is shared so be aware of that before booking, also their is wooden floors and no secure garden so not ideal for our large dog. But its a lovely location, lovely cottage and very comfortable.

The cottage is situated in beautiful peaceful countryside and provides a good base for venturing in all directions. My personal view is that the cottage is most suitable for a family of four, ie. two adults and two children. The cottage is very well equipped and spacious. A perfect cottage, central to some beautiful walks and lots to see and do in the local vicinity. Godshill nearby and with walking distance is a little gem with some fantastic places to eat. The Cottage is clean and all areas are very thoughtfully provided for - it was great to have two bathrooms too - a real luxury.
