Puffin Lookout is a lovely, high quality apartment with views out over the bay. Spotlessly clean with plenty of towels and the beds are comfortable. We could properly unpack and settle in due to there being good storage space. The white and grey decor is modern and calming. The flat is nicely decorated, clean and quiet. There are fantastic views and the bedrooms are a good size. The position is great, it only being a 5minute walk to town and having a dedicated parking space was brilliant. Well located for day trips out, we found Shell Bay to be the best beach for playing in the sand but the whole coastline is lovely. Read moreHad a great time. Hide

Great location, fantastic views of the bay and very modern appt. very steep hill & a number of stairs to deal with - so pushchairs/wheelchairs beware! Loved the place tbh and would love to return 1 day!

We absolutely loved everything about Puffin Lookout. From the decor, the standard of finish, the comfort, the equipment, the space, the feel of the place, the location and the views. Plenty to do and see around Swanage and the Isle of Purbeck. The weather was perfect too, so it was a wonderful holiday.

The accommodation is well situated for the town centre albeit uphill from the town. Lack of outside space could be a problem but there is a green area within walking distance by way of compensation. Swanage is a nice town and would recommend the steam railway as a day out particularly if you decide to visit nearby Corfe Castle which is a must. We loved our stay in Puffin Lookout. We all felt really at home in the lovely modern apartment. We had everything we needed for our 1 week stay. The children adored the selection of games and books. And now we are home we are already missing the beautiful sea views. There were a couple of minor points to do with the condition and cleanliness: in mRead moreost of the rooms there were chips in the paintwork and plaster where screws were located. The draws had plaster/brick dust inside and under the beds had not been vacuumed. The main bedroom could be cold at times due to small radiator (but I expect only an issue in colder months) - so could have done with additional blanket. At times it was challenging having only 1 bathroom for a family of 4. The attraction vouchers in the leaflets of the black apartment folder had expired. When we arrived at the apartment we were initially concerned about the construction work in the next door plot, and thought it might be an idea to have been forewarned; however, happy to say, we were barely aware of the presence of construction work during our stay. Lastly we couldn't find any glass recycling facility for the apartment. These were only very minor issues - it is a lovely apartment and we hope to book a stay in Puffin Lookout again in the future. Kind regards, Louisa, Mark, Elliot and Callum. Hide

Thoroughly satisfied with the accomodation. Its cosy, has nice views, modern fittings and furniture, good heating and easy access right above the town centre with its own parking place in front of the house. Would come again.

We felt very welcomed with such kindness in providing us with all the basics we should need for settling in and a fridge and basket full of goodies icluding the hamper we'd won from yourselves. The flat was immaculate and had every amenity for comfort and luxury. Many thanks for a marvellous welcome and all that we needed for a great stay.

First class accommodation . Not a problem for us but steep fairly long climb up from town. Durlston Country Park just a few minutes up the road. Well worth going to and free if you don't take car. Great views from lounge . Well pleased with all that was advertised and more.
