Ideally situated just a couple of hundred metres from the beach, this pretty apartment offers cosy and tranquil accommodation for a couple or a small family looking for a holiday home in the heart of Swanage. Occupying the first-floor of a Victorian villa at the eastern end of the bay, this attractive getaway is less than a mile from the town’s famous pier and a wide variety of excellent places to eat and drink. Within easy reach are many of the Purbeck region’s most popular attractions, including quaint villages, delightful seaside towns, stunning beaches and beautiful parks.

This tastefully decorated and spacious apartment is reached via a flight of external stairs. On entering you will find the apartment has been attractively decorated in light and restful shades. You will find yourself in a spacious and comfortable lounge/diner which is a lovely space for relaxing in, with plenty of seating and a charming dining area. The kitchen is small but stylishly designed and fully equipped so you can prepare any meal. There are also two cosy bedrooms: a double and a single room, as well as bathroom complete with a shower over the bath.

Perfect for enjoying the beaches at Swanage Bay and Durlston Bay, this lovely property makes a great base for exploring the Purbeck area. Local attractions include Ballard Down (1 mile), Durlston Country Park (2.5 miles) and Dancing Ledge (3 miles). Studland Nature Reserve is just three miles away, and is home to the Dragons’ Teeth, Agglestone Rock and the beautiful Studland Beach. You can also catch a ferry to the idyllic Brownsea Island (7 miles), or head inland to explore Corfe Castle (5.5 miles). You can also explore the towering cliffs of Spyway (3 miles) and the glorious beaches and breathtaking walks of the Jurassic Coast.

This apartment was just perfect for us and our daughter. We were a 3 minute walk from the beach and on the right side of Swanage to make travelling in and out of town easy by car. The Dorset / Jurassic coast is superb with so many things to see and do. Being a National Trust member allows you to enjoy so many things and allows you to park for free Read moreat many of the local beauty spots / landmarks. I would strongly recommend any small family to take advantage of this wonderful property. Hide

The property, its location, the presentation of the whole house is extremely well equipped. The quality of the equipment and furniture is of the highest standard. Our stay was very pleasant and we would highly recommended it to others.

If you don't mind the wooden stairs up to the front door than you will have no real problems here. The kitchen is small, but very functional. The rest of the property surprisingly roomy compared to our expectations of a single storey flat. Not too much of a shock after booking many cottages over the years. Weather was colder than expected for June Read morebut when required, the heating was very efficient . Location excellent. Good to have a dedicated parking space also. Value for money 10/10. Hide

This is probably one of the best self catering places we have ever stayed. Everything you could want was provided. It was warm, comfortable, clean and all the facilities were modern and easy to use. We had a great stay.

Felt immediately at home as the welcome note left by the owners suggested. Nicely decorated and well furnished property. Perfect size for our small family. We had a very comfortable stay. The location of the flat is perfect, short stroll to the beach. We would definitely recommend staying here.
