Located in a picturesque village less than a mile from a beautiful beach, this light and attractive cottage offers peaceful accommodation for a family or a couple looking to discover the Isle of Wight’s quieter south-western region. Perfect for exploring a network of idyllic walking routes, this charming getaway nestles in a delightful spot on the edge of the Isle of Wight Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The cottage is ideal for visiting the stunning coastline with the Needles (10 miles) within easy reach.

Entering this charming terraced property, you will find yourself in the bright, spacious and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This makes a fantastic living space to relax in during your holiday. You can curl up with a good book or watch a movie in the light and airy lounge or prepare a favourite meal in the fully equipped kitchen which you can share in the delightful dining area. Going upstairs there are two cosy bedrooms: one king-size and a twin room. To the rear of the property is a fully-enclosed garden with a patio, small lawn and garden furniture, allowing you to unwind with a glass of wine in the evening.

The tranquil village of Brighstone is home to a wealth of picturesque properties, including a pub, shop and local museum. The nearby Brighstone Bay is a popular location for fossil-hunting and surfing. This is a great area for keen walkers and cyclists, with footpaths leading to Brighstone Downs and the Tennyson Trail. Nearby attractions include Mottistone Manor (2 miles), Carisbrooke Castle (7 miles) and Amazon World Zoo (11.5 miles). Heading north you can visit Yarmouth (10 miles) or explore the Hamstead Heritage Coast (6 miles). Travelling south along the coast you will reach the historic Victorian resort of Blackgang Chine (6 miles) and the popular seaside town of Ventnor (12 miles).

This little cottage is idyllic and in a fantastic location with everything on your doorstep including pubs, shops and the beach! Completely dog friendly with lots of dog walks in the local vicinity, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend!

This was by far one of the best cottages we have stayed in. Such a light and spacious home. The wifi was great so my older sons were happy! Fabulous garden, completely safe for our dog, and because the lawn was artificial we didn't have to worry about him digging a hole! This is a well equipped, comfortable cottage that feels spacious. Brighstone is a lovely village and is an excellent location to explore the West of the island. My family love the cottage, no doubt we will be back.

This cottage goes that little bit extra with regard to being dog friendly. Would highly recommend the cottage as a base for exploring the Island. 10 min walk to the beach and excellent village shop just around the corner.

This cottage is almost brand new! It's well furnished and very comfortable. 2 large double bedrooms and a big bathroom with full bath and a walk in shower. An excellent cottage in a beautiful location. Doesnt matter if you are taking a dog or not this is a fantastic base for your stay in Isle of Wight. Brighstone must be the nicest village on the island and this cottage has everything you need. Has to be ten out of ten from us.

Very well appointed for the perfect doggy holiday. Bed very comfy. Little gifts on arrival much appreciated. Situation excellent for access to Tennison trail and many other walks. Local pubs good value. Village tranquil.

We had a wonderful stay here. The cottage has pretty much everything you could need and was very welcoming for our dog too which was lovely. Clean and modern inside and a fully enclosed rear garden were definite bonuses. Hope to be back.

Modern, cosy and very comfortable, amazing eco system fir heating set in a gorgeous friendly village, arrive on the friday and wait till the evening and hear the church bells at bell ringing practice. Near the most beautiful Compton bay beach which is truly magical.
