Cosy bolthole set in a tranquil location within easy reach of Cowes and Newport. Spend your days relaxing on the terrace, taking long walks and exploring all that the Isle of Wight has to offer.

Nestled in a rural spot between Cowes and Newport, this cosy retreat is ideally situated for exploring the western coast of the Isle of Wight. Head North to the bustling town of Cowes, renowned for its sailing heritage and offering plenty of restaurants, shops, and cafes to choose from. The beach at nearby Gurnard is the ideal spot for spending a lazy afternoon or enjoy one of the many wonderful walks leading directly from the property. Whilst out and about on your walks look out for the abundance of red squirrels the area has become renowned for. For retail therapy visit Newport where you will find a good selection of high street names.

A shared gravel driveway brings you up to the single-storey attached property and the private entrance into the cottage. Once inside you are met with a welcoming hallway leading to a light and bright kitchen on your left. This well-equipped space has a gas hob, combination microwave oven, fridge, freezer and washing machine. Next is the lounge/diner, which is the perfect spot to relax and perhaps watch a film as it has a TV/DVD as well as lovely views over the garden surrounding the property. Tucked into the corner of the room is a dining table with space for two to dine in comfort. When the day is done head back into the hallway where you will find a pretty double bedroom with en-suite shower and WC.

Venturing outside from the hallway or lounge you will find an enclosed courtyard with furniture and lovely views over the owner’s large two acres of garden (guests are welcome to explore the wider garden by arrangement with the owner). This is the ideal spot to relax with a drink, whilst taking in the lovely views. Ample off-road parking can be found on the shared gravel driveway. Directly opposite the property is thousands of acres of forest perfect for walking, cycling and bird watching.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
