The stunning coastline and warm climate mean that this island is the perfect playground for those who love the outdoors. Walking and cycling are freely available, with more than 500 miles of footpaths and walking routes. A trip to the award winning beaches of Shanklin or Sandown with popular esplanades and miles of sand and shingle beaches. The eastern side of the island is dotted with beautiful coastal villages including Seaview, a popular yachting centre and the small village of Bembridge, best known for its large harbour. Other attractions include Ventnor Botanic Gardens, Blackgang Chine, Isle of Wight Zoo and Needles Park.

This spacious accommodation offers FOUR bedrooms: on the first floor and all with sea views, 1 super king-size, 1 king-size with pull-out bed and 1 zip-and-link twin (which can be made into a king-size on request). Bathroom: with electric shower over the bath and WC. Shower room. Separate WC. On the ground floor 1 further zip-and-link twin (which can be made into a king-size on request). Lounge: with TV, DVD, Xbox 360 and open fire. Dining room: with woodburner. Kitchen: well-equipped with electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. Outside utility room: with Belfast sink, washing machine, tumble dryer and WC. Outside: the garden is steeply terraced with a paved area with table, chairs and a BBQ at the top to enjoy the views. Amenities: ample parking (advisable to reverse onto driveway). Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating, small bag of coal (during the winter) and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking. Regret no pets. Location: beach, pubs, restaurants and shops all within easy walking distance. Arrival: 3pm.

The cottage was really well equipped and comfortable. We hadnt realised quite how steep the hill is on which the house sits!! The Isle of Wight has a good bus service but one would miss a lot without a car. Plenty to sights to see and places to visit.
