Lavender Cottage is situated on a farm in one of the loveliest parts of the Isle of Wight, lying at the foot of Appuldurcombe Down and above the picturesque village of Godshill, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A pleasant ten-minute stroll through the beech copse and across the fields leads to the centre of Godshill. This village is renowned for its church and pretty thatched cottages. Above the arable fields of the farm lie sweeping open downlands, where sheep graze and over which guests are welcome to walk along the marked trails.
