This beautiful property located behind walled gardens, is in a wonderful position for exploring all the Isle of Wight has to offer, with wonderful history and heritage on the Island.

This elegant period cottage is in the pretty village of Bonchurch on the outskirts of Ventnor, where you will find some amazing architecture and local shops and restaurants. You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches down on the south coast of the Island and with Blackgang Chine nearby where your dogs are also welcome there is a lot for the whole family to do.

Enter the cottage through the front entrance porch where you can instantly appreciate the attention to detail the owner has invested into creating this fantastic holiday cottage, from the Italian limestone flooring to the plantation shutters. The wonderfully social kitchen and dining room benefits marble topped dining table with ample seating for the whole group and Rangemaster gas oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and finished with underfloor heating. Just beyond you’ll find the utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and American style fridge/freezer which leads to the snug where the owner has created a lovely dog bedroom with access to both the front and back gardens, your four-legged friends will love this space, it even has it's own en-suite shower room, not for the exclusive use of pets. The stylish lounge with Smart TV, is a wonderful space to retire to after a long day exploring and cosy up in front of the wood burner. The single bedroom can also be found on the ground floor. Head up the stairs to find the remaining three bedrooms, a double with en-suite shower and WC, a king-size with views over the front garden, and finally the final bedroom is a grand four-poster king-size and opposite the main bathroom with bath and WC.

This cottage boasts enchanting gardens at both the front and rear of the property, they’re beautiful places to sit and relax taking in the delights of the gardeners’ hard work. Al fresco dining is a must here. There is parking on site for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
