Beautiful house and location with lovely local walks and pub/village shop. People were really friendly and accommodation was clean and well presented. Loads to do around this location and ran out of time! Great for a relaxing break to get away from it all..

Stunning sea views (even in the rain!) and a gorgeous holiday cottage in an exquisite part of Dorset. Well appointed and nicely cared for, very comfortable, deliciously warm, roomy and spacious. Couldnt have wished for more!

A very comfortable property with everything you might need for a home from home holiday. The views from the property are stunning and the Isle of Purbeck is a lovely part of the country with lots to do to suit all ages.

This is simply the best holiday home we have stayed at in the UK - and we have stayed in many. There are amazing views from every window, its incredibly spacious, clean and well equipped. The location is second to none with 10s of great walks from the door. Worth Matravers is a gem. And of course the excellent pub just 5 mins away. The owner was heRead morelpful and communicative. The cottage exceeded our expectations with the location, comfort and facilities. Our 3 year old grandson had the time of his life and there was so much to do whether climbing up Corfe Castle or taking in the sea air along the many wonderful walks and beaches. A lovely, spacious house in a beautiful setting within 20 minutes walk to the coast. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. A short walk to the village which is very pretty. Easy access to local coastal walks.

Lovely house in lovely village. The view is even better than the photos show. Lovely walk from the house down to Winspit Quarry - the quarry was used for filming in Dr Who and Blakes 7! Pasties at the local Square & Compass pub really nice. Would definitely recommend.

Great location with walks straight from the door, a pub in the village and easy road access to many places in the Purbecks. The kitchen was really well equipped. The views lovely - we saw both deer and pheasant from the balcony. Plenty of space too - with the added bonus of the games room. The hosts were very helpful.

A beautiful cottage in a stunning peaceful location - the photos dont do it justice . Breakfast on the balcony and drinks on the terrace at sundown gave it a real holiday feel. The sea view is sublime with wildlife spotting opportunities in the adjacent fields . The house was immaculately clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We loved Gwyle House from the moment we arrived. It was extremely well prepared and as clean and tidy as it could have been. The photos do not do it justice - the view across the rolling Dorset fields and the twinkling sea was beautiful. We would love to go back in summer, next year hopefully, as we would put the bog patio area to more use. We really loved our long weekend at Gwyle House. The location is perfect with a fantastic view down to the sea from the lounge. The house is modern and very smart, and was very clean and felt really safe. The kitchen is well equipped with quality white goods and cooler. We are looking forward to returning with friends when the pandemic is over.

Fabulous views, loved having the bonus of table tennis and walks straight from the door. Great pub in pretty village on our doorstep. Very comfortable, open plan and spacious.

A lovely position to enjoy the countryside and coast, we didnt use the car for 5 days and enjoyed the silence. Even in a breeze the balcony is protected and a great space to sit. Beds were comfortable, but do bring cushions for the settee (most have been removed due to Covid)
