The property features three en-suite bedrooms – a double room on the first floor and two cosy twin rooms on the ground floor.

The ground floor also features a utility room with a tennis table, and a children’s room with a TV/DVD player, games and toys. Stepping outside, a large unenclosed mature garden surrounds the house and features an enclosed paved terrace, perfect for sharing meals alfresco. There are miles of beautiful country walks to enjoy right from the doorstep. The property is close to the picturesque villages of Worth Matravers (0.5 miles) and Langton Matravers (2 miles) and is ideal for exploring the South West Coast Path, with landmarks including St Aldhelm’s Head, Houns Tout Cliff (both 2 miles) and Dancing Ledge (4 miles). Local beaches include Chapman’s Pool (1.5 miles), Studland Bay (7.5 miles) and Kimmeridge Bay (10 miles). Lovely house and garden set in wonderful location. Not suitable for those wanting a beach holiday but ideal for more active holiday.

I absolutely love the view from Gwyle! It's what I returned to this property for. Watching it get light over the sea in the mornings brought me joy as it did on my previous stay here. The cottage was in a beautiful location, with stunning sea and countryside views. Great lighting in the cottage supplied with the many big windows which enabled lots of light into the property. Deeply disappointed. Arrived to find the kitchen worktops sticky and needing a clean. An internal bin contained rubbish. Windows leaked and the owners kindly left towels to mop up the leaks when it rained instead of having them fixed. Advised to use the back door, perhaps because the front door didnt work so well? Sign upstairs saying not to open tRead morehe door to the balcony as it was leaking. - Extreme weather conditions and coastal location caused some water internally on this occasion. Come on spend your hard earned rental income and fix this place up a little! Not recommended. Hide

Great house. Exceptionally clean and well equipped. Plenty of space in all of the rooms and fantastic location for the views and the excellent pub. We were very impressed with the speed and efficiency that a small problem with one of the showers was dealt with. Would definitely recommend this property.

This is a beautiful cottage in an unparalleled location. The balcony is the perfect place to enjoy the view of the sea. The walks nearby are amazing and all on your doorstep. The cottage is light and airy and the kitchen well equipped with utensils. The beds were very comfortable. The table tennis was a valuable addition for our teenagers. Beautiful, isolated hamlet. Tremendous views from the balcony of the property and from all the rooms. Well equipped. Plenty of hot water and good ensuite facilities. Table tennis a great addition. The little takeaway tea room is only open Fri, Sat and Sun so most shopping is a drive away. The area does have a phone signal though now which is good. Read moreSteep walks down to wild coves. Swanage has the nearest safe, sandy beaches if wanting a swim. Hide

Wonderful location where you can be as relaxed or active as you wish. Great walks from the door, mixture of pub/restaurants within easy reach and the balcony is ideal for watching the variety of local nature.
