Enjoyed every moment in the cottage. Homely feeling from the first moment. You can find faults in any place you rent. This place is a perfect retreat, not far to the beach, great walks. It gave us the peace and quiet we needed. Loved it and look forward to coming back soon.

Greystone Cottage is a lovely property - cosy but at the same time bright and airy. The second sitting room is a real bonus for teenage guests. Perfect property for dogs as the beach is a short walk away. The road can be a little noisy if you are in the garden or have the bedroom windows open - but it can't really be heard from inside. The small doRead moreuble bedroom is very small (we nicknamed it 'the cupboard') but loved by our teenage son. We look forward to being able to return again. Hide

The cottage is very comfortable downstairs. The underfloor heating is great. Nice big garden for our two dogs, but make sure the gate is shut as it's situated right on the military road and small dogs could get out underneath the gate. No stand up shower in the bathroom upstairs so with two families it was a bit tricky. The double shower downstairsRead more is massive, but water ran out quickly if everyone wanted to get ready at the same time! Once we got the heating working upstairs it was more comfy. Hide

On the main Road but with paths from the door to the beach, also up into the local village and beyond . Very spacious and with all you need the small double would be tight to use to get dressed in as well as sleeping . Overall a nice property .

This very well equipped property is ideally suited for a family vacation. It is on the quieter side of the island but near some lovely beaches and great for walking and cycling. Local amenities are about 4 miles away but are very easily assessable. I would have no hesitation in recommending the property to friends

Great property in a great position or be it is on the main road. There had been some mention of lacking hot water but honestly this was not a problem for four adults. Great walks from house and the Sun Inn serves lovely food. We had beautiful weather, although we could sit outside the garden furniture needs some TLC or could do with replacing. Fantastic house in a great location for a short walk to the beach. We visited with our 10 month old and 2 year old. Our toddler had a great time exploring the garden. A lovely cottage with a large open plan living area and comfortable sofas. However, not suitable for toddlers in our opinion and the small 'double' room at the top of the stairs is no more than a box room and our teenage son found it very claustrophobic. The small amount of hot water would put us off visiting again however our son loved the separatRead moree downstairs lounge and the selection of TV channels was excellent. Hide
