Stunning five-star architecturally designed property, offering stylish accommodation for eight guests, situated in a sought-after residential area in the waterside town of Cowes.

Greenside is situated in a prestigious residential area of Cowes. There are open views from the rear of the house across the golf course which can be accessed by a gate, with the Club House only 200 metres away. It is around half a mile from the beach at Gurnard. The centre of Cowes is a 15-minute walk from the house. Here there is an attractive shopping centre plus a variety of public houses, wine bars and restaurants. The floating bridge makes it easy to cross the River Medina and from here it is only a two-minute drive to Osborne House, the island home of Queen Victoria. Cowes is renowned for its sailing and has an attractive centre with narrow streets.

Greenside was built in 1956 to an award-winning design (James Stirling) and provides light and spacious accommodation. It boasts a sitting room with sensitive spot lighting and windows overlooking the garden and golf course. A 40-inch SMART High Definition television with surround sound, along with a Blu-ray player and stereo system are provided. A telephone is available, plus WiFi throughout the house. There is a spacious central day room with an open plan staircase. The fitted kitchen is equipped with a large Range Cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. (A separate utility room contains the washing machine, tumble dryer and a fridge/freezer). The house also has a dining area which adjoins the kitchen and has doors which open into the garden with an additional TV. The house sleeps eight in four bedrooms.

On the ground floor, there is a double bedroom with a super-king bed, a television and an en-suite shower room with walk in shower, basin and W.C.; a twin bedroom and bathroom. There are two additional double bedrooms on the first floor with king-size beds, arm chairs and each room has its own television. An inflatable bed can be provided to enable a child to sleep separately. Upstairs there is also an additional shower room with a hand basin and W.C. This lovely detached house is furnished and equipped to a high standard in a modern style. Central heating and electricity are without extra charge. As well as the gas central heating, there is also under floor heating in both bathrooms downstairs as well as the kitchen diner.

Greenside has a well-established garden that provides privacy at the front of the house. There is a sunny garden at the rear with a lawn and an area of decking with garden furniture and a barbecue. Red squirrels can frequently be seen. There is parking for at least five cars. A public house with views overlooking the Solent is half a mile away, a shop is three quarters of a mile and a limited bus service, 150 yards away.

Lovely property close to Cowes. Unusual but practical layout with a beautiful garden. Very well equipped with good quality appliances that work.

A lovely large property perfect for our extended family holiday, in a very nice area of the island and very close to an excellent beach and to Cowes. From 2 years of age to 71 years of age, we all had a super time.
