The house was ideal for our group and was very convenient for the town, it was warm, clean and well-equipped although we struggled to work the dishwasher because the labels on the selection buttons on the front were worn away. It was a disappointment that the open fire was not available to us, this was one of our search criteria and the house detaiRead morels included a fire and logs. Although the house was nice, we would not stay there again and I'm afraid our friends would find the parking difficult. Hide

I spent a lovely long weekend at Grassmere with my sisters and Mum. Its a great location with lots of restaurants and the seafront only a 5 minute walk away. The kitchen is well equipped, the lounge a comfortable place to sit after a day out and about and we loved sitting in the garden with a cup of tea.

This is a smashing property close to town yet on a quiet street. Lots of communal space as well as very comfortable bedrooms for privacy if needed. The equipment is very good and, in February when we stayed, the house was very cosy. We had a great big family stay here, and all who came (13 to 72 years old) loved the place.
