Detached stone cottage, offering delightful accommodation for four guests, situated on a 450-acre farm enjoying breath-taking views across picturesque Tennyson Down.

This traditional stone cottage is situated on a 450 acre farm, amidst rolling countryside on the south west coast of the Isle of Wight. There are spectacular views of the sea and the white cliffs of Tennyson Down from the farm. It is An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is in a fantastic walking and cycling area, with footpaths and bridleways leading directly from the cottage to the sea and the downs. The peaceful beach at Brook is within a 15-minute walk over the farm and here, swimming and paddling can be enjoyed. Nearby Compton Bay is renowned for its fossils, surfing and wind surfing. The market town of Freshwater is within a ten-minute drive, as is the delightful port of Yarmouth with its sailing marina plus a variety of public houses, excellent restaurants and shops. A country public house is within a ten-minute walk of the cottage.

Dunsbury Farm Cottage is a detached stone property which has been converted from a traditional farm outbuilding. It has been furnished and equipped with care to provide cosy accommodation of a high standard for four people in two bedrooms. There is a snug open-plan living area with a sofa, arm chair, television with DVD player and FreeSat, a dining area, plus a fitted kitchen area equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. (A washer/dryer is also provided and there is access to a freezer). There are two bedrooms; one double and one twin, plus a shower room with an electric shower, basin and W.C. A travel cot and high chair can be provided. The cottage has wall mounted electric heaters which can be thermostatically controlled. Heating and electricity are at no extra charge. WiFi internet can be provided.

There is a pretty fenced garden with a lawn at the front of the cottage. Garden furniture and a barbecue are provided so that visitors can enjoy meals in the sunshine. There is also a covered area to the side of the cottage drive with facilities for table tennis, darts and a small sand pit. Parking is available for two cars. Freshwater Golf course is within a short drive of the cottage. Horse riding and sailing courses can be arranged and fishing trips are available from Yarmouth Harbour.
