This spacious house is set within the charming village of Corfe Castle, home to one of Dorset’s most iconic landmarks and is ideally placed for exploring this beautiful county and the Jurassic Coast

This charming property is well positioned down a quiet no through lane on the outskirts of the village. For a relaxing day out there are a choice of lovely beaches nearby, including Swanage, Kimmeridge and Studland. Or perhaps take a trip into the village centre where you will find a bustling square offering a choice of pubs and shops selling local goods as well as essential supplies. A visit to the famous ruins of Corfe Castle is a must, or take in the stunning scenery whilst travelling by steam train on the nearby Swanage Railway. With easy access to the South West Coast Path this property is also ideal for those wishing to take in the picturesque surroundings on foot.

Take either the short flight of steps or the path through the garden to the front door. Once inside you are met with an inviting hallway, with plenty of storage for boots and coats as well as a wonderful warm wood floor. Immediately ahead is the open-plan lounge/diner. With a decorative feature fireplace, lovely views of the garden and a light and bright ambience courtesy of the sun room to the rear, this is the perfect spot in which to relax and unwind. The inviting lounge area offers comfortable seating and a Smart TV, ideal for settling down in front of your favourite programme. Heading back into the hallway will bring you to the kitchen, which is well-equipped for the best of cooks with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. When the day is done take the short flight of stairs up to the first floor where you will find a bright and airy twin bedroom offering lovely views of the hills surrounding the house. Next, step into the adjacent king-size room where you may catch a glimpse of the steam trains passing in the distance, sure to appeal to both adults and children alike. The bedrooms both share the stylish bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

To the rear of the house is a pretty enclosed garden with lawn, garden furniture perfect for dining outdoors. To the front of the property is an off-road parking space for one vehicle and further roadside parking (subject to availability).

A fabulous property, finished to a high standard. Well equipped with everything you would need. Great location, walking distance to local amenities, restaurants and pubs. Short drive to beaches and other local attractions. We had a wonderful stay and would go back.

An absolutely beautiful cottage. Very comfortable. Lovely view of the steam train and simple walk into the village. Good road access. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here
