Charming end-of-terrace cottage sleeping up to six guests, enjoying a convenient location in Swanage town centre just a short walk from the town’s seafront and sandy beach.

Central Villa is attractively situated in a small lane in the centre of the seaside town of Swanage. The sea is less than a two-minute walk away. Swanage is renowned for its sandy beach and beautiful bay, set amidst rolling Purbeck countryside. This is part of the Jurassic coast and is a fantastic walking area. Swanage has old fashioned seaside charm, alongside a range of boating activities including wind surfing, water skiing, rowing, diving and sailing. It also has a steam railway which links the town with the picturesque village of Corfe Castle.

Central Villa is at the end of a terrace of four properties. The villa has been furnished and equipped to provide attractive and comfortable accommodation for six people in four bedrooms. It is centrally heated and furnished in a traditional style. On the ground floor there is a pleasant sitting room with a sofa and chairs, a television with Freeview and DVD player, and visitors can relax in front of a real open fire. There is a dining area where meals can be enjoyed, with French doors opening into the courtyard; a small galley style fitted kitchen opens off of the dining area and is equipped with a gas cooker, sink and washing machine. A microwave and fridge-freezer are provided adjacent to the kitchen.

Stairs lead up to the first floor where there is a pretty twin bedroom; a single room; a bathroom with a small slipper bath, basin and WC, plus a separate shower room with a built in shower, basin and WC. Further stairs lead up to the second floor where there is an attractive double room and a single bedroom. There are glimpses of the sea and the nearby Purbeck hills from this floor. A travel cot and high chair can be provided. Heating, electricity and WiFi internet are available at no extra charge.

The villa enjoys a courtyard style garden at the rear with garden furniture so that meals can be enjoyed outside. Within a four-minute walk of the property is a bus service to local villages, as well as to the towns of Bournemouth and Poole. Swanage has a variety of interesting shops, as well as public houses and restaurants - all within a two-minute walk. Visitors can park outside the property to unload and car parking is available in nearby roads within five minutes walk.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Lovely cottage with many welcoming additions made by the owner. The weather wasn't particularly great as it was October, but there were lots of board games and books to keep us occupied when it rained. It's a beautiful area to explore and the cottage is in the heart of the town, near the beach.

Our fourth stay in this lovely cottage. It's a real home from home. Lovely to meet Jean the owner this time too. Love the Quay Hole upstairs for great food with a view, and the Red Lion round the corner does a great Sunday roast. We love Swanage
