Delightful five-star property offering attractive accommodation for eight guests, enjoying a convenient location in the seaside village of Bembridge, just a few hundred yards from the village beach.

This beautifully presented house is within 350 yards of the beach and is centrally situated in the coastal village of Bembridge, on the east of the Isle of Wight. The village has a charming centre with an excellent butcher, baker, florist, greengrocer, fishmonger and chemist, as well as tea shops, pubs, gift shops, a supermarket and several individual restaurants. Bembridge Harbour is also nearby and offers a range of sailing and boating activities, as well as fresh fish which is caught daily. There are lovely coastal walks from the house towards the harbour and onwards to St. Helens Seaview and Ryde, or in a southerly direction the coastal path skirts Bembridge to Forelands and across the beautiful downs above Culver Cliffs to Sandown. This is also a particularly attractive cycling location.

Caustons is one of a pair of spacious houses with harbour and sea views. It has been furnished and equipped to a high standard to provide attractive accommodation for eight people in four bedrooms, with three bathrooms set over three floors. It is double glazed, centrally heated and has Wi-Fi internet provided. On the ground floor there is an open-plan, contemporary kitchen with a ceramic hob and electric oven, combination oven/microwave/grill, dishwasher and fridge freezer; a lovely dining area with an oak table and chairs; a relaxing sitting room with leather sofas and armchairs, sensitive atmospheric lighting, a large television with Freeview, YouView and DVD player, Hi-Fi unit with iPod dock, and French doors opening into the garden. There is also a cloakroom with WC, basin, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Stairs lead up to the first floor where there are two double bedrooms with sea and harbour views - a particularly spacious master bedroom with a king-size double bed, ample wardrobes, a flat screen wall mounted television, and an en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC; a second bedroom with a king-size double bed and TV; a twin bedroom for children; a family bathroom with a bath, overhead shower, basin and WC.

A further flight of stairs leads up to a superb double bedroom with a double bed, armchair, television and a Velux style window which can be opened to form a small balcony from which visitors can stand and enjoy the views across the sea and harbour. A similar balcony with sea views is available in the adjoining bathroom; a large and particularly luxurious room with a freestanding bath, walk-in shower, basin and WC. A travel cot, high chair and child safety gate (room divider only cannot be sued on stairs) can be provided where requested, plus an additional single inflatable bed to enable a child to sleep separately in one of the double bedrooms. Central heating and electricity are without extra charge.

Caustons has a charming enclosed courtyard style garden which is a riot of colour in summer. Garden furniture and a barbecue are provided so that meals can be enjoyed in the sunshine. There is a further area of garden with a lawn at the front of the property which enjoys the evening sun. Lockable storage space is available for bikes and there is parking for three cars just outside of the house. There is a bus service within a five minute walk. The central location of Caustons means that within a few minutes walk one can be at the sea, restaurants, a public house and a variety of shops. Within a ten-minute drive of the house are the coastal villages and resorts of St. Helens, Seaview, Ryde and Sandown. A golf course is within five miles.

Please note there is a refundable £250 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

Very well appointed and good position in the village centre, short walk to harbour. Great attention to detail, kitchen well equipped, beautiful garden - better maintained than one usually expects in a holiday rental.
