Chic three-storey property, offering elegantly-styled spacious accommodation for up to fourteen guests in the seaside town of Swanage, offering the ideal location for enjoying a special break away.

Bay House is located in the centre of the holiday resort of Swanage, situated within a one minute walk of the sandy beach and beautiful bay, plus the small shops and various wine bars, cafes and restaurants. Swanage is a wonderful place to enjoy swimming, paddling, boating and fishing, as well as diving and a variety of water sports. It is a fairly small coastal town set amidst the spectacular downs of the Isle of Purbeck. It is part of the renowned Jurassic Coast and is a fantastic walking and cycling area. The Swanage Steam Railway provides a link with the historic village of Corfe Castle and there is a good bus service providing links with Wareham, Studland, Poole and Bournemouth.

Furnished with great attention to detail in a rich and elegant country house style, Bay House provides comfortable accommodation for up to 14 guests across six bedrooms, each with an en-suite bath or shower room. The accommodation is arranged over several split levels with short staircases linking each level. It is an ideal base for those looking to spend their time beside the sea with all of Swanage's prime attractions within a short walk of the house. Glimpses of the bay and coastline beyond can be enjoyed from some of the top bedrooms and many of the rooms have beautiful high ceilings and attractive large windows.

The property boasts two adjoining sitting areas, one decorated with sumptuous sofas, an ornamental fireplace and upright piano, and a second with additional comfortable sofa seating and a large flat screen TV with Sky including Sports and Movies, and a DVD player. The rooms can be opened into one larger area when desired via wooden doors. There is a dining area where 14 people can enjoy meals together; an open plan fitted kitchen equipped with a double electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, double fridge freezer and an excellent amount of cupboard space, plus a utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Bay House has WiFi throughout and all of the bedrooms have televisions and some storage space. There is a light and spacious master bedroom with a super king-size bed, ample storage space and a flat screen TV, plus an elegant ensuite bathroom with a Victorian style ball and claw foot bath, hand shower ,WC and basin. (This bathroom can also be accessed from the landing if desired). The house has five additional bedrooms comprised of three doubles, one twin and one triple room, all of which have either ensuite bath or shower rooms. One of the doubles has pretty floral wallpaper and enjoys glimpses of the sea, as does the twin bedroom which also has an attractive writing desk and seat. The triple room on the top floor has both a small shower room with basin and a spacious bathroom with a bath and hand held shower, WC and basin, giving guests exceptionally flexible bathing options - ideal after a day spent at the beach. In addition to the en-suites, there is also a cloakroom and shower room accessed from the landings. A travel cot and high chair, plus an inflatable single mattress are available on request. Central heating and electricity are without extra charge.

The house has an attractive decked terrace with outdoor furniture and climbing pot plants where meals can be enjoyed al fresco. Cars can be parked in front of the property if space permits, or in nearby residential roads within a short walk of the property.
