Larkspur House was a good base for our weeks stay on the Isle of Wight with our children and grandchildren. It was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. An easy walk to the beach and to the shops in Bembridge where there is a good butcher, fishmonger and Coop plus gift shops and cafe. A lovely house, very well located with a great garden (the badgers and foxes were a wildlife bonus), comfortable bedrooms and nice lounge and dining area and overall we had a great week there. A couple of things need mentioning the website promises a fridge and separate freezer - there are two fridges but no freezer (just a small freezer compartmeRead morent in each fridge). Also having just one small (single cup) cafetiere for up to seven adults is hopeless coffees took ages just for four of us. Hide

This house is in an ideal location and very spacious, however its in need of a deep clean and redecoration. We were a party of 7 and although there was plenty of crockery there were chips in mugs and plates. It appears to be up for sale and therefore in our opinion has not been well maintained. We thought was over priced. The garden is amazing but Read moreat the bottom of the garden on a number of occasions we saw a vixen and her 3 cubs using the dens which others have referred to as badgers dens. Hide

Lovely spacious house, ideal for a family holiday. Huge back garden, well equipped kitchen, plenty of parking for three cars. Plenty of garden furniture. Good location - excellent shops in Bembridge high street, and local shop nearby. The sea is close, and there is a recreation ground with a playground right behind the house.

Larkspur house is a well equipped 4 bed house within 10 minute walk to the beach. We found the location to be excellent, with a small but well provisioned shop in walking distance and having 2 young children , the play park behind the house was a great amenity. The garden is very pretty and great to sit out in.

Lovely property with large garden, fully enclosed so safe for children to run around, love the outside patio. Plenty of room and well equipped. 15 minute walk to beach and 2 minute to recreation ground behind the property. Enjoyed Sunday lunch for the family at the Birdhand pub just a few minutes walk away, great food and very welcoming.
