This ground-floor apartment in the heart of Swanage is an ideal bolthole for a couple on a romantic getaway. Swanage is one of the south coast’s most vibrant towns with plenty of pubs and restaurants. Its big attraction however is Swanage Bay - a beautiful stretch of sandy beach - and its close proximity to the Jurassic Coast - home to Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove (18 miles). Swanage itself is a charming Victorian resort and you can have a great day out on the Swanage Railway for a 6-mile journey that takes you through beautiful countryside or stroll along the pier. If you fancy a more unique look at the coast, you can hop on board the sea-going paddle steamer. And no stay in Swanage is complete without visiting the majestic Corfe Castle which is just under 6 miles away.
The apartment is cosy and contemporary and arranged over a single floor. The bedroom has a king-size bed which can be separated into twins if required and has spectacular views of the town’s pier, which is quite the sight to wake up to. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with WC. The kitchen is a good, well-equipped space where guests will find all they need to rustle up delicious food with some locally sourced produce. There is a large window with views of Swanage Bay which can be enjoyed at the round dining table with seating for four. Finally, the apartment’s living room has a comfortable two-seater sofa bed, armchair and TV. However, all eyes will undoubtedly be on the view of the bay through the room’s picture windows.
While there is no outdoor space for this apartment, it is so close to many beautiful outside spaces that you won’t miss out. The Downs Park is less than half a mile away as is Durlston National Nature Reserve.
