Escape to this bright, modern cottage close to the centre of Shanklin on the beautiful Isle of Wight. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom retreat offers superb space for a family or group of friends and comes with a courtyard garden where you can all bask in the summer sunshine. Welcoming four-legged friends too, it is the perfect base for guests hoping to follow a section of the Isle of Wight Coastal Path with their dog by their side.

Return from your excursions and head straight into the kitchen/diner to unpack the fresh produce you have bought and prepare the next tasty meal. This airy space is well equipped and has a table where you can gather for holiday breakfasts, lunches and dinners. While away evenings together in the large lounge to the rear of the property. Slide open the great glass doors to the garden on summer days to create seamless indoor/outdoor living. Watch a DVD or find your favourite show on the TV from the comfort of the soft seating. There is also a handy WC downstairs. Make your way up to the floor above when it is time for a great night’s sleep. Here you have a king-size bedroom, with an en-suite shower room, a double room and a twin, with beds that can also be made up as a super-king-size by prior arrangement. There is also a family bathroom, where you can soak to your heart’s content. Dine outside in the courtyard garden at every opportunity. Unwind on the sun loungers with your current novel. There is off-street parking for two cars.

Spend time on Shanklin Beach, less than 1 mile from your base. Sandown Beach, 2.5 miles away, is also popular with families. Take the children to the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary, 2.5 miles away.

  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

the downstairs lights tripped out on resetting the porch light did not come on so I would it was the porch light that tripped.

Well equipped, modern and comfortable with really good sleeping arrangements. Courtyard back garden small with adequate outdoor furniture but tidy and secure for pets. Quiet location with off street parking. Nearby shopping within walking distance. Location good with short drive to esplanade which is long and flat with plentiful seating along the wRead morealkway.
