Beautiful, large comfortable & very well equipped house. Quirky in a lovely historical way. Amazing beach location with superb views of The Solent. Drawing room, bed rooms & rear sitting room are flooded with light & a pleasure to be in. Bathrooms are ideal. Breakfast kitchen, utility & sun room are perfect for dogs & everything is very practical &Read more homely. Quality beds, mattresses and linens made our stay relaxing & the sofas in all sitting rooms were ideal. We would all stay again. Hide

The location is wonderful, just steps from the beach. The house itself is lovely (but be prepared for lots of stairs) with a well equipped kitchen and very comfy beds. Most rooms provide wonderful views. We had a great stay and can recommend.

This is a beautiful house, very near the ferry but that only made it more interesting. The boats going by were varied and lovely to look at from the balcanies and many picture windows. We will definitely go back and enjoyed the comfortable environment. It is very well equipped and location good for island attractions.

Amazing house and huge! Really interesting and cosy. We loved the pirate room and my dad spent a lot of time in the chair watching the view. Fab location, nice little beach cafe 5 mins away and town short walk. Decking area, garden and balcony, all with great views. Beds were hotel comfy.

Stunning views of Solent. beautiful house, full of character. Very high ceilings and lots of original features Very clean, beds comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with good quality implements. Just for advice as expected lots and lots of stairs! Eat as many cream teas as you want! Also no central heating on top floor, electric heaters instead.. No dRead moreryer, this was a real problem for us, as our holiday was in March. East Cowes beach a short walk away. We had a lovely week on the island. Hide
