I stayed at this house with various members of my family to celebrate a big birthday. It is gorgeous, much nicer than the photos suggested, with much prettier (very private) back garden. Lovely big downstairs space with lots of different areas. The master en-suite upstairs was great, with a dressing/closet area and good sized bathroom with walk in Read moreshower. The only thing that would be good to have is another upstairs bathroom, as there is only one family bathroom for the other four bedrooms. 9/10 Hide

A spacious, very comfortable house in a superb location. Ideal for a family and within walking distance to the beautiful coastline. The house itself feels welcoming and homely. Although guests will feel sad to leave they will also know that the next family or small group etc will enjoy their own unique stay at Chalcross.

We were a party of 6 celebrating a 60th birthday weekend. The property was everything we hoped for and more, well equipped, spotlessly clean, warm and spacious. The location is perfect for all the village amenities, beach and The Pig. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will not hesitate to visit again. The property is a credit to its owners.
