Fabulous house and garden. Home from home for us. Local shops nearby. Easy access to all parts of the island. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be booking to stay again. The outside covered area was particularly good as we experienced a heavy rain shower one night and it was lovely to sit outside and hear the rain while keeping cosy and dry. The cottage is well located and spacious for our family of five plus a dog. Good levels of equipment. The only issue was the heating timings appeared wrong i.e. came on really early morning and later in the evening, hence a bit chilly late afternoon.

A beautiful spacious house with a lovely large south facing dog-friendly garden. The veranda is a real bonus especially in the evenings and the patio is perfect for outdoor meals. Just be aware that what must be the only park in the UK that bans dogs is immediately behind this lovely property.

Fabulous house, very well equipped. Incredible garden and we loved sitting on the covered patio on the day it rained. There's something special about being out in the elements but still dry and warm. Two of our party saw the badgers one evening, which was a bonus.

Excellent property with minor issues. A milk jug and tea cosy would be welcome and a grill pan and frying pan also. The downstairs shower room needs a non slip shower mat and grab rails. We loved the patio table but were not able to make much use of it due to unfavourable weather. We had a medical emergency and were very impressed with the speed anRead mored quality of treatment at the hospital in Newport. Altogether a comfortable and well furnished property which ideally suited our needs. Hide

Found Larkspur House to be as advertised, clean and comfortable with a great garden. The covered patio was good for relaxing with a book and for dining alfresco in the evenings. The house is in a good location on a residential road and just a short walk to Bembridge centre.
