Cowes Week is a key part of the sailing calendar and is one of the most impressive sailing events in the world. With so many sailing boats taking part the Solent becomes a riot of colour as crews push the limits of thier talent and craft in a bid to gain an advantage.
The week long event is enjoyed by thousands of spectators who line the shore or bob about in the sea. In the evening the town churns with the exuberant sailors as they relive the days events with friends and family.
