The Cart House is very attractively situated on the 3000 acre Trigon Estate. It is one of three cottages in a small peaceful hamlet in a delightful rural area with walks directly from the house. Two golf courses and the RSPB site at Arne within 5 minutes drive. Sandy beach of the small resort of Swanage is within 10 miles. This property has, as its name suggests, been converted from the original cart house for the Trigon estate and it dates back to 1850. It is built with an attractive combination of brick and wood with lovely large windows. The Cart House has delightful gardens of almost an acre.

Purbeck House is a beautiful, Grade II listed, stone property, dating back to the 1700’s with a large garden and views of the lovely Purbeck hills. It stands close to the centre of the picturesque village of Corfe Castle - almost at the very heart of the wonderful Isle of Purbeck with its rolling hills and sandy beaches.

This delightful traditional stone cottage stands in a peaceful lane within a few minutes walk of both wonderful open countryside and the historic castle and central square of the picturesque village of Corfe Castle. The attractive square is a lovely spot with a number of small shops - these include a National Trust gift shop, a local bakers for wonderful breads, cakes and lunchtime rolls, a traditional sweet shop; a general stores offering a wide range of local produce plus public houses, and a number of tea shops and restaurants.
Seaview Cottage enjoys open views across beautiful countryside to the sea. It is very attractively situated in the lovely village of Worth Matravers in the Isle of Purbeck and the sea at Winspit is within a 15 minute walk. This area of coastline is part of the renowned Jurassic Coast and a World Heritage Site. It is a superb walking and cycling area with footpaths and trails, connecting with the coast path and various bridleways across the downs, almost from the cottage door. The centre of the village of Worth Matravers is within a few minutes walk of the cottage and here there is a pretty village green with duck pond, a tea shop/ supper room which is good for meals plus the Square and Compass – a public house renowned for its local ciders and wonderful views. The picturesque, historic village of Corfe Castle is within a 5 minute drive as is the small seaside resort of Swanage. Here the sandy beach slopes gently into the water and it is ideal for swimming and paddling. Visitors can also enjoy ‘Punch and Judy’, a stroll along the Victorian pier, boat trips, fishing, diving and a ride on a steam train.
Seaview is a Purbeck stone semi detached cottage which has recently been renovated to provide very attractive accommodation of a high standard for 7/8 people in 4 bedrooms. On the ground floor there is a delightful kitchen with fitted units, hard wood work tops, electric cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and washing machine; a lovely dining room with patio doors which open on to the terrace with views across the garden to the sea; a large open plan sitting room with bi-fold glass doors along one entire wall which fold back to make the outside terrace feel like part of the room. The sitting room is furnished with comfortable sofas, arm chairs, large flat screen television/Freesat/Blu-ray DVD player plus a wood burning stove which provides a lovely central focus for the room in colder weather. Also on the ground floor is a tiled wet room with under floor heating, electric Mira shower, WC and basin plus a charming single bedroom. Stairs lead up to a further three charming bedrooms – a master bedroom with a king size double bed, fitted wardrobe and attractive Victorian feature fireplace; a smaller double room with a king size bed and a wardrobe plus a twin room. There is also a well equipped tiled bathroom with bath, hand shower, separate built in shower and basin plus a separate cloakroom with WC. Cot/high chair or folding bed for a child can be provided. Electric heating without extra charge. WiFi internet can be made available.
There is a delightful large south facing garden which has the sun for most of the day. Visitors can relax on the terrace whilst enjoying the open views of the beautiful countryside and watch the small boats as they pass by in the distance. There is a lawn surrounded by attractive shrubberies and pretty rock gardens. This garden is gated and fenced and garden furniture is provided. At the front of the cottage there is a further area of lawn with flower beds and a drive where two cars can be parked.
Seaview Cottage has ground floor accommodation and is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided at a charge of £12.00 at Seaview Cottage. Seaview Cottage is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Friday to Friday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 16:00 and the normal departure time is 10:00. Short break weekend and midweek self catering holidays are available from 27th October 2017 to 21st December 2017, 5th January 2018 to 8th February 2018, 16th February 2018 to 22nd March 2018 and 26th October 2018 to 20th December 2018.

Worth Matravers is a pretty rural village within a short walk of the sea on the Southern side of Purbeck in Dorset. This charming and traditional village boasts a village duck pond, a historic church, attractive stone cottages and a renowned local public house (Square and Compass Public House) which has a calendar of traditional village activities including stone carving and pumpkin growing.
The coastline below Worth Matravers is well known for the dramatic landscape and abundance of wildlife. It is a popular spot with walkers who stop off while walking along the coastal path and some take the time to have a swim.
It's for anyone who likes to live life adventurously - you don’t have to be a seasoned explorer to enjoy a Go Ape experience! Go Ape offers up to three hours of tree top fun. It’s a great way to get outdoors and have some fun. The Moors Valley GoApe Country Park is within a 40min drive of Purbeck and is a great day out for the whole family. goape.co.uk
The Isle of Purbeck is a peninsular of land located in the South of Dorset and is famous for its sandy beaches, beautiful countryside and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site. The sea surrounds Purbeck on three sides and nowhere is for from the coast. Apart from the small town of Swanage, the Isle of Purbeck is made up of small rural hamlets and traditional villages.
The North side of Purbeck is dominated by a wooded and heathland nature reserve and where it meets the water of Poole Harbour it attracts a great deal of bird life. The East coast of Purbeck is known for the two long sandy beaches at Studland and Swanage but also for the limestone pillars at Old Harry's Rocks. Along the South Coast is the start of the Jurassic Coast which is characterised by impressive coastal formations like Dancing Ledge and Durdle Door but also for quiet coves and peaceful beaches for swimming.
Much of Purbeck has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the vast majority of Purbeck remains in the hands of nature. This is ideal for walkers and cyclists who are free to explore large areas of countryside and take in a number of wondrous locations.

Seaview Cottage has views across the Jurassic Coast and has a footpath running past the house down to the coastal path and Winspit Bay where, apart from the bay, there are rock stacks, caves, hand dug mines, and a rich history of smuggling. The same path can be followed East for Dancing Ledge where one can also swim in a man made salt water swimming pool blasted from the rock.
