This charming detached stone cottage has lovely open views across fields to the sea. It is situated in the delightful Purbeck village of Worth Matravers in Dorset. A beautiful spot with a village green, duck pond, excellent public house and ancient church. All within a pleasant 15 minute stroll of the sea. This is a wonderful walking and cycling area with direct access to a network of bridleways and footpaths and within a short walk of the coastal path. This lovely grade II listed stone cottage stands close to the centre of Swanage and is less than a 5 minute walk from the beach. Here the golden sand gently slopes into the water making it ideal for paddling and swimming. This lovely stone cottage is peacefully situated within 1 mile of the beach of Swanage – a lovely sandy beach which curves around the bay and gently slopes into the water making it ideal for paddling and swimming. There are a variety of boating activities available including canoes and paddle boats. On the shore there are a variety of seaside entertainments including crazy golf and Topsail House is within a 10 minute walk of the coastal path as it winds its way past Durlston and heads towards some of the most beautiful parts of the coastline of Worth Matravers, Kingston and Kimmeridege. Purbeck Beaches and Coastline:
Purbeck is famous for its coast line and seaside locations. The principle beaches are at Swanage and Studland which both enjoy a sandy shore. Along the Jurassic Coast on the south side of the Isle of Purbeck there are many bays and dramatic coastal features which are more secluded and much less busy even in the summer. Kimmeridge Bay for example enjoys a shingle beach with excellent waters for swimming.
