This lovely Elizabethan stone cottage enjoys an attractive position just on the edge of the charming purbeck village of Langton Matravers and within a few minutes drive of the seaside resort of Swanage with its wonderful sandy beach and traditional entertainments. Langton Matravers still retains its village shop/post office and has two good public houses for meals plus local beers and ciders within 5 minutes walk.

Lovely traditional stone cottage beautifully situated in the charming hill top village of Kingston. There are wonderful rural views from the cottage and the large garden and terrace overlook the picturesque village of Corfe Castle which nestles below in the valley. These panoramic views extend across the valley to the downs. There is a good public house for meals within a few minutes walk and almost immediate access to some of the most wonderful walks in Purbeck. Great for both walking and cycling. The sandy beaches of Swanage are within a 10 minute drive. Bird watching is excellent at the RSPB site at Arne. Golf courses in nearby Studland and Wareham.

This lovely stone cottage is beautifully situated in the grounds of Afflington Manor – a superb manor house, mentioned in the Doomsdaybook, surrounded by beautiful gardens, lakes and farmland which is home to Alpachas, pedigree cows and sheep. The lakes in the grounds encourage a great deal of bird life. There are resident ducks and herons are frequent visitors.The cottage is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Corfe Castle.

It stands close to the centre of the picturesque village of Corfe Castle - almost at the very heart of the wonderful Isle of Purbeck with its rolling hills and sandy beaches.

Beautiful stone, Grade II, listed cottage with delightful gardens, within a two minute walk of the lovely ancient square of Corfe Castle and the majestic castle. The village is renowned for its excellent restaurants, tea shops, old fashioned public houses, superb local bakers and general stores. Corfe Castle is in the heart of the isle of Purbeck with wonderful walks to the Jurassic coastline and along the beautiful downs. The sandy beach of the small resort of Swanage is within a 10 minute drive. Alternatively the steam train, which runs from Corfe Castle to Swanage, offers a delightful way to travel. Also nearby are the wonderful miles of sandy beaches and dunes at Studland.

This spacious, charming detached cottage is a few moments walk from the heart of Worth Matravers and its delightful village green and duck pond. Worth Cottage has 4 lovely bedrooms, a large fitted kitchen and a charming sitting room with wood burning stove. Beautiful gardens of almost an acre. The sandy beach at Swanage is a 10 minute drive away and the cottage is only a 15 minute walk from the sea at Winspit. This beautiful area is part of the Jurassic Coast and is a wonderful walking and cycling area.

This lovely stone cottage is beautifully situated in wonderful countryside close to the picturesque village of Corfe Castle in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is approached by a private drive and stands in the grounds of Afflington Manor – a superb manor house mentioned in the Doomsday book. The farmland of the manor house extends to over 600 acres and visitors can walk across the nearby fields and follow footpaths to some of the loveliest villages of the Isle of Purbeck.

Stone cottage with lovely open view across fields to the sea, situated in the delightful Purbeck village of Worth Matravers. Wonderful walking and cycling area. The cottage is within a ten to 15 minute walk of the coastal path and from here visitors can walk westwards to Chapman's Pool, Kimmeridge and Lulworth or eastwards to Swanage and Studland. Renowned public house for local ciders within 5 minutes walk. Also attractive tea shop/supper room overlooking the pretty village duck pond. The historic village of Corfe Castle is within a 5 minute drive as is the sandy beach of the small resort of Swanage.
Seascape stands within a stones throw of the sea and enjoys lovely open sea views from several rooms. These views are panoramic, extending across the whole bay, from Ballard Down on the East to the westward extremity of Peveril point. The sandy beach of Swanage bay is only a half minute walk away. Here visitors can enjoy swimming, paddling and boating. Swanage is a traditional seaside resort with ‘Punch and Judy’ shows, amusements and a Victorian pier. Alongside this there is a diving centre and a variety of small interesting shops, restaurants and public houses. These are all within a two or three minute walk. The town is also renowned for its steam railway which links the seaside town to the picturesque and historic village of Corfe Castle. The property is adjacent to the coastal path and visitors can walk along the promenade and over Ballard Down into Studland with its sand dunes and four miles of sandy beach. The walk westwards leads to Durleston and extends onwards along a beautiful stretch of Purbeck coastline passing close to several traditional villages. Worth Matravers provides a pleasant place to stop with a traditional public house with Purbeck ciders.
Seascape is a well maintained property positioned on the sea front above a local bakers and cafe. In warm weather there are tables and chairs outside the shop so that local Dorset cream teas or homemade soup can be enjoyed in the sunshine. A gated flight of steps leads up to the property and the accommodation is on two floors. Seascape has been furnished and equipped with care. It has fitted carpets and is heated with thermostatically controlled, wall-mounted electric heaters. It provides attractive, light and airy accommodation for 6 people in 3 bedrooms. On the first floor there is a spacious newly equipped fitted kitchen with an electric hob and cooker, microwave, sink and refrigerator with small freezer section; a pleasant dining area; a large sitting room which extends across the full width of the property and has big windows which can be opened back to enable visitors to relax enjoying the sights and sounds of the sea which is in such very close proximity. This room is furnished with a comfortable sofa and chairs, a flat screen television/Freeview/DVD/video. On this floor there is also a pleasant bathroom with a bath, overhead shower, basin and WC. Stairs lead up to three attractive bedrooms. There are two lovely double bedrooms with basins and fitted wardrobes - one has the added advantage of open sea views and a television with freeview. The third bedroom is a pleasant bunk bedroom which also enjoys sea views. Travel cot/high chair can be provided. Heating and electricity without extra charge. There are no washing machine facilities at this property, but there is a launderette in the town.
One car can be parked off road within a few yards of the property. Steam train service to Corfe Castle and regular bus service to Poole, Bournemouth and the Purbeck villages within 3 to 4 minutes walk. Nearby places to visit include the ancient castle at Corfe, Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum and several National Trust properties including Kingston Lacey.
Seascape is a non smoking cottage. Seascape is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Saturday to Saturday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 16:00 and the normal departure time is 10:00. Short break weekend and midweek self catering holidays are available from 18th February 2017 to 31st March 2017 and 28th October 2017 to 15th December 2017.

Swanage is best known for its sandy beach and large bay. The beach is popular with swimmers and games in the gentle surf. With it's sandy beaches and pleasant climate it has been a popular seaside resort since Victorian times. Swanage is the starting point of spectacular walks along the Jurrasic coast, as well as inland country walks, situated as it is in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Swanage Steam Railway - Swanage is connected with the attractive village of Corfe Castle by the Swanage Steam Railway. The railway is now a popular attraction in its own right but can also be used as an effient means of transport between Swanage and Corfe Castle and can be incorporated in to a cicular walk along the Purbeck hills. www.swanagerailway.co.uk
Swanage Beach - The long sandy beach at Swanage is one of the principle destination on the Isle of Purbeck. The shallow bay at Swanage beach is idea for swimming and in the summer there are special events and activities for the family including a Punch and Judy show.
It's for anyone who likes to live life adventurously - you don’t have to be a seasoned explorer to enjoy a Go Ape experience! Go Ape offers up to three hours of tree top fun. The Isle of Purbeck is a peninsular of land located in the South of Dorset and is famous for its sandy beaches, beautiful countryside and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site. The sea surrounds Purbeck on three sides and nowhere is for from the coast. Apart from the small town of Swanage, the Isle of Purbeck is made up of small rural hamlets and traditional villages.
The North side of Purbeck is dominated by a wooded and heathland nature reserve and where it meets the water of Poole Harbour it attracts a great deal of bird life. The East coast of Purbeck is known for the two long sandy beaches at Studland and Swanage but also for the limestone pillars at Old Harry's Rocks. Along the South Coast is the start of the Jurassic Coast which is characterised by impressive coastal formations like Dancing Ledge and Durdle Door but also for quiet coves and peaceful beaches for swimming.
Much of Purbeck has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the vast majority of Purbeck remains in the hands of nature. This is ideal for walkers and cyclists who are free to explore large areas of countryside and take in a number of wondrous locations.
