This lovely Elizabethan stone cottage enjoys an attractive position just on the edge of the charming purbeck village of Langton Matravers and within a few minutes drive of the seaside resort of Swanage with its wonderful sandy beach and traditional entertainments. Langton Matravers still retains its village shop/post office and has two good public houses for meals plus local beers and ciders within 5 minutes walk.

The Cart House is very attractively situated on the 3000 acre Trigon Estate. It is one of three cottages in a small peaceful hamlet in a delightful rural area with walks directly from the house. Two golf courses and the RSPB site at Arne within 5 minutes drive. Sandy beach of the small resort of Swanage is within 10 miles. This property has, as its name suggests, been converted from the original cart house for the Trigon estate and it dates back to 1850. It is built with an attractive combination of brick and wood with lovely large windows. The Cart House has delightful gardens of almost an acre.

Swanage is renowned for its sandy beach and beautiful bay set amidst wonderful Purbeck countryside. This is part of the Jurassic coast and is a fantastic walking area. The coastal path, which is only 2 minutes walk away, leads westwards to the pretty Dorset villages of Langton & Worth Matravers, Kimmeridge and Lulworth.

Willow Cottage is attractively situated in Langton Matravers - a small village amidst the beautiful Purbeck Hills. This is a wonderful walking and cycling area with easy access to the World Heritage coastline. Footpaths lead almost directly from the cottage to the coast near Dancing Ledge. Visitors also have direct access across National Trust fields to nearby woodland and can follow footpaths along the valley to the pretty village of Corfe Castle.

Charming detached stone cottage situated in the picturesque village of Worth Matravers - a coastal village in the heart of the wonderful rolling hills of Purbeck. The cottage is beautifully furnished and equipped. It has a large garden with panoramic views of the sea and surrounding countryside.
Providence Cottage is less than a one minute walk from the sea and is attractively located in the narrow streets of old Swanage - a small coastal resort. This is a traditionally built stone Purbeck property, Grade 11 listed and was originally a Fisherman’s cottage. Within a 5 minute walk visitors can enjoy almost all the amenities Swanage has to offer with its attractive Victorian pier, its lovely sandy beach which is ideal for paddling, swimming and boating; its seaside entertainments plus a variety of small boutique style shops; wine bars, public houses and restaurants. There is also easy access to the Steam Railway which links Swanage with the historic village of Corfe Castle plus bus services to the Purbeck villages, Corfe Castle, Wareham and Poole and Bournemouth. Visitors may also appreciate having a private parking space next to the cottage in the centre of Swanage.
This lovely stone cottage offers very attractive and comfortable accommodation, on three floors, for 6 people in 3 bedrooms. It is centrally heated and has been furnished to a high standard. On the ground floor there is: a delightful sitting room with comfortable sofas and an armchair, Smart TV/Blu-ray/DVD, an open fire; a lovely open plan dining room; a newly equipped shower room with a large walk in shower, basin and WC; a utility area with a washing machine and freezer; a small galley style 'bespoke' fitted kitchen equipped with wooden units, oak work tops, a gas hob, electric cooker, integrated microwave, refrigerator with ice box and dishwasher. (The kitchen has a single narrow point at the entrance of 19 inches). Stairs lead up to the first floor where there is delightful double bedroom, a charming twin bedroom with basin family shower room with a large walk in shower, basin and WC. A further flight of stairs leads to another delightful bedroom with a king size bed and lovely views, across rooftops, of the sea with the Isle of Wight clearly visible in the distance. A folding bed can be added into this room or a travel cot high chair may be provided. Central heating, electricity and WiFi internet connected at no extra charge.
Providence Cottage has a small walled and gated courtyard with garden furniture provided so that meals can be enjoyed outside in the sunshine. There is a raised area within the courtyard with parking space for one car up to a height of 6ft. (Children do need to be closely supervised in the courtyard as there is an unfenced drop between the parking area and garden).
Providence Cottage is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided free of charge at Providence Cottage. Providence Cottage is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Friday to Friday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 15:00 and the normal departure time is 10:00. Short break weekend and midweek self catering holidays are available from 27th October 2017 to 17th December 2017, 5th January 2018 to 8th February 2018, 16th February 2018 to 22nd March 2018 and 26th October 2018 to 20th December 2018.

Swanage Steam Railway - Swanage is connected with the attractive village of Corfe Castle by the Swanage Steam Railway. The railway is now a popular attraction in its own right but can also be used as an effient means of transport between Swanage and Corfe Castle and can be incorporated in to a cicular walk along the Purbeck hills. www.swanagerailway.co.uk
Swanage Beach - The long sandy beach at Swanage is one of the principle destination on the Isle of Purbeck. The shallow bay at Swanage beach is idea for swimming and in the summer there are special events and activities for the family including a Punch and Judy show.
It's for anyone who likes to live life adventurously - you don’t have to be a seasoned explorer to enjoy a Go Ape experience! Go Ape offers up to three hours of tree top fun. The Isle of Purbeck is a peninsular of land located in the South of Dorset and is famous for its sandy beaches, beautiful countryside and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site. The sea surrounds Purbeck on three sides and nowhere is for from the coast. Apart from the small town of Swanage, the Isle of Purbeck is made up of small rural hamlets and traditional villages.
The North side of Purbeck is dominated by a wooded and heathland nature reserve and where it meets the water of Poole Harbour it attracts a great deal of bird life. The East coast of Purbeck is known for the two long sandy beaches at Studland and Swanage but also for the limestone pillars at Old Harry's Rocks. Along the South Coast is the start of the Jurassic Coast which is characterised by impressive coastal formations like Dancing Ledge and Durdle Door but also for quiet coves and peaceful beaches for swimming.
Much of Purbeck has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the vast majority of Purbeck remains in the hands of nature. This is ideal for walkers and cyclists who are free to explore large areas of countryside and take in a number of wondrous locations.
