There is a very spacious sitting room, separate dining room and open plan kitchen with a further sitting area in front of a wood burning stove. The property is centrally heated and furnished and equipped to a high standard. Wifi internet available.

This lovely Elizabethan stone cottage enjoys an attractive position just on the edge of the charming purbeck village of Langton Matravers and within a few minutes drive of the seaside resort of Swanage with its wonderful sandy beach and traditional entertainments. Langton Matravers still retains its village shop/post office and has two good public houses for meals plus local beers and ciders within 5 minutes walk.

Central Villa is attractively situated in a small lane in the centre of the lovely seaside town of Swanage. The sea is less than a 2 minute walk away. Swanage is renowned for its sandy beach and beautiful bay set amidst wonderful Purbeck countryside. This is part of the Jurassic coast and is a fantastic walking area. The coastal path, which is only 2 minutes walk away, leads westwards to the pretty Dorset villages of Langton & Worth Matravers, Kimmeridge and Lulworth.

This delightful stone cottage stands in a quiet lane close to the centre of the picturesque village of Corfe Castle. The dramatic ruins of the castle provide a wonderful backdrop to the village and marvellous open views can be enjoyed from the hill on which it stands. This is a superb walking and cycling area - the village is surrounded by beautiful countryside and the rolling Purbeck hills.

Priory Farm Cottage is a 'chocolate box' traditional thatched cottage surrounded by beautiful countryside and within a 10 minute drive of the sea at Lulworth. Here swimming, fishing trips, rib riides and the 'fossil forrest' can be enjoyed. There are also wonderful walks with the coast path extending westwards to Weymouth and eastwards to Studland. The cottage is furnished and equipped to a high standard. There is a 'king size' master bedroom, a smaller double bedroom and a charming single room. Outside there is a lovely fenced garden with large lawns and a patio area for enjoying meals plus a play area for children.

Willow Cottage is attractively situated in Langton Matravers - a small village amidst the beautiful Purbeck Hills. This is a wonderful walking and cycling area with easy access to the World Heritage coastline. Footpaths lead almost directly from the cottage to the coast near Dancing Ledge. Visitors also have direct access across National Trust fields to nearby woodland and can follow footpaths along the valley to the pretty village of Corfe Castle.

This lovely stone cottage stands in a quiet lane within a 3 minute walk of the central square of the picturesque village of Corfe Castle. Corfe is renowned for its dramatic and majestic castle which is protected by the National Trust. The wonderful sandy beach of Studland is within a 15 minute drive. Here there is a two mile stretch of sand where swimming, paddling and boating can be enjoyed. The more lively small resort of Swanage is also within a 15 minute drive where there is also a long sandy beach.

Lovely fishermans cottage located in the old part of Swanage within a one minute walk of the sea. Swanage is a small resort with a sandy beach which is ideal for paddling, swimming and boating. The cottage has accommodation on 3 floors and there are views across the sea to the Isle of Wight from the top floor. The cottage has two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom plus a small courtyard garden and parking for one car.
This delightful stone cottage with the green front door is beautifully situated overlooking the large scenic mill pond in the pretty, old part of Swanage. The pond is home to ducks and moorhens and is beside the charming church of St Mary’s. This is a lovely peaceful setting with no passing traffic. The cottage is within a pleasant 5 minute stroll of the beautiful sandy beach of the small seaside resort – here the sand gently slopes into the water and is ideal for swimming and paddling. Boat trips can be enjoyed as well as fishing and diving. A wonderful steam railway links Swanage with the picturesque and historic village of Corfe Castle. The cottage is also in a wonderful cycling and walking area. There are delightful coastal walks westwards to the traditional Purbeck villages of Worth Matravers, Kingston and Kimmeridge with their stone cottages, traditional public houses and local ciders. Walks westwards across Ballard Down, with magnificent views of Old Harry’s Rocks, to miles of unspoilt sandy beach at Studland – a haven for wildlife and birds.
My Home on the Pond is a traditional Purbeck stone cottage which is Grade II listed and is one of a small terrace overlooking the mill pond. The cottage has been furnished and equipped with care and provides attractive and comfortable accommodation for 5 people in three bedrooms. It is centrally heated and all of the rooms have views of the pretty mill pond or the garden. On the ground floor there is an attractive sitting room with a large sofa, armchair, television/Freeview/DVD/VCR and a wood burning stove which provides a delightful central focus in colder weather. There is a separate dining room with a bay window overlooking the garden; a small kitchen equipped with a belfast sink, gas cooker and hob, microwave, washing machine and fridge freezer. Stairs lead up to three attractive bedrooms – a single room which overlooks the mill pond and two double bedrooms with king size beds - one of these overlooks the mill pond and the other has a garden view; a family bathroom with a bath, overhead shower, basin and WC. Central heating and electricity at no extra charge. Travel cot and high chair can be provided. WiFi internet connection available.
The cottage has a small walled and gated garden at the front of the property and a large walled garden at the rear with a lovely lawn, attractive shrubberies and garden furniture so that meals can be enjoyed in the sunshine. Visitors can park to unload at the front of the cottage and a garden gate at the rear of the cottage provides access to a road where one car can generally be parked adjacent to the garden wall. Good bus service, steam train, shops, public houses and restaurants within 5 minutes walk.

My Home on The Pond is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Friday to Friday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 15:00 and the normal departure time is 10:00. Short break weekend and midweek self catering holidays are available from 27th October 2017 to 17th December 2017, 5th January 2018 to 8th February 2018, 16th February 2018 to 22nd March 2018 and 26th October 2018 to 20th December 2018.

Swanage is the starting point of spectacular walks along the Jurrasic coast, as well as inland country walks, situated as it is in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Swanage Steam Railway - Swanage is connected with the attractive village of Corfe Castle by the Swanage Steam Railway. The railway is now a popular attraction in its own right but can also be used as an effient means of transport between Swanage and Corfe Castle and can be incorporated in to a cicular walk along the Purbeck hills. www.swanagerailway.co.uk
Swanage Beach - The long sandy beach at Swanage is one of the principle destination on the Isle of Purbeck. The shallow bay at Swanage beach is idea for swimming and in the summer there are special events and activities for the family including a Punch and Judy show.
It's for anyone who likes to live life adventurously - you don’t have to be a seasoned explorer to enjoy a Go Ape experience! Go Ape offers up to three hours of tree top fun. It’s a great way to get outdoors and have some fun. The Moors Valley GoApe Country Park is within a 40min drive of Purbeck and is a great day out for the whole family. goape.co.uk
The Isle of Purbeck is a peninsular of land located in the South of Dorset and is famous for its sandy beaches, beautiful countryside and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site. The sea surrounds Purbeck on three sides and nowhere is for from the coast. Apart from the small town of Swanage, the Isle of Purbeck is made up of small rural hamlets and traditional villages.
The North side of Purbeck is dominated by a wooded and heathland nature reserve and where it meets the water of Poole Harbour it attracts a great deal of bird life. The East coast of Purbeck is known for the two long sandy beaches at Studland and Swanage but also for the limestone pillars at Old Harry's Rocks. Along the South Coast is the start of the Jurassic Coast which is characterised by impressive coastal formations like Dancing Ledge and Durdle Door but also for quiet coves and peaceful beaches for swimming.
Much of Purbeck has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the vast majority of Purbeck remains in the hands of nature. This is ideal for walkers and cyclists who are free to explore large areas of countryside and take in a number of wondrous locations.
