Vine Cottage is a pretty thatched holiday cottage within a 1 minute walk of the sandy beach of Studland in the Isle of Purbeck. This traditional cottage has been equipped and furnished with care to provide very attractive and comfortable accommodation. Studland is 'An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' protected by the National Trust and there are over 4 miles of sandy beaches to enjoy. This is also a wonderful walking and cycling area. The coastal path from Studland, passes Old Harry Rocks and leads onwards to the small coastal resort of Swanage. Restaurant and public house plus beach cafe all within 5 minutes walk.

This lovely grade II listed stone cottage stands close to the centre of Swanage and is less than a 5 minute walk from the beach. Here the golden sand gently slopes into the water making it ideal for paddling and swimming. The town centre is a 3 minute walk away and is particularly pleasant with its small shops, various restaurants, cafes and public houses.

The Bakery Cottage is a lovely stone property which stands in the centre of the charming village of Langton Matravers amidst beautiful Purbeck countryside and within a few minutes drive of the sandy beach of the small resort of Swanage. Priory Farm Cottage is a 'chocolate box' traditional thatched cottage surrounded by beautiful countryside and within a 10 minute drive of the sea at Lulworth. Here swimming, fishing trips, rib riides and the 'fossil forrest' can be enjoyed. There are also wonderful walks with the coast path extending westwards to Weymouth and eastwards to Studland. The cottage is furnished and equipped to a high standard. There is a 'king size' master bedroom, a smaller double bedroom and a charming single room. Outside there is a lovely fenced garden with large lawns and a patio area for enjoying meals plus a play area for children.

Central Villa is attractively situated in a small lane in the centre of the lovely seaside town of Swanage. The sea is less than a 2 minute walk away. Swanage is renowned for its sandy beach and beautiful bay set amidst wonderful Purbeck countryside. This is part of the Jurassic coast and is a fantastic walking area. The coastal path, which is only 2 minutes walk away, leads westwards to the pretty Dorset villages of Langton & Worth Matravers, Kimmeridge and Lulworth.

Willow Cottage is attractively situated in Langton Matravers - a small village amidst the beautiful Purbeck Hills. This is a wonderful walking and cycling area with easy access to the World Heritage coastline. Footpaths lead almost directly from the cottage to the coast near Dancing Ledge. Visitors also have direct access across National Trust fields to nearby woodland and can follow footpaths along the valley to the pretty village of Corfe Castle.

The dramatic ruins of the castle provide a wonderful backdrop to the village and marvellous open views can be enjoyed from the hill on which it stands. This delightful stone cottage with the green front door is beautifully situated overlooking the large scenic mill pond in the pretty, old part of Swanage. The pond is home to ducks and moorhens and is beside the charming church of St Mary’s. This is a lovely peaceful setting with no passing traffic. The cottage is within a pleasant 5 minute stroll of the beautiful sandy beach of the small seaside resort.

Lovely fishermans cottage located in the old part of Swanage within a one minute walk of the sea. Swanage is a small resort with a sandy beach which is ideal for paddling, swimming and boating. The cottage has accommodation on 3 floors and there are views across the sea to the Isle of Wight from the top floor. The cottage has two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom plus a small courtyard garden and parking for one car.
Clematis Cottage is beautifully situated in the charming village of Worth Matravers amongst the lovely rolling Purbeck hills. This is a conservation village in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village is known for its stone cottages, pretty duck pond, tea shop and its traditional public house where local ciders can be enjoyed by open fires or whilst enjoying the wonderful sea views in summer. This is a wonderful walking area with a footpath leading directly from the cottage to the sea at Winspit and to the coastal path which can be walked eastward to Swanage and Studland or westward to the villages of Kimmeridge and Lulworth. This is part of the renowned Jurassic Coast. The small resort of Swanage is within a 5 minute drive and here there is a lovely sandy beach for swimming and facilities for boating and diving. The Swanage Steam Railway links with Corfe Castle – another pretty village within a 5 minute drive of the cottage.
This delightful Grade II listed cottage is in a small terrace of properties in a quiet lane near the village pond. Care has been taken to retain the original features of wooden beams, flagstone floors and pretty wooden windows. It has been furnished and equipped to provide very attractive accommodation for 5 people in 3 bedrooms with a maximum of 4 adults. On the ground floor there is a charming open plan sitting room with a sofa and chairs, an open fire, flat screen television/Freeview/DVD; a very pleasant dining area; a pretty children's bedroom with a small single bed and a bunk bed; a separate small fitted kitchen equipped with an electric cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and large refrigerator with icebox. Stairs lead up to another two charming bedrooms – a double room and a twin room plus a family bathroom with a bath overhead shower, basin and WC. Central heating/electricity without extra charge. Travel cot/high chair can be provided. WiFi internet available.
There is a small terrace at the rear of the cottage and shared access with the adjoining cottage to a private raised area of garden with a lawn and garden furniture so that meals can be enjoyed the sunshine. Cars can be parked across the lane or by the village pond if space permits. Visitors are given a free permit for parking in the village car park – this is within a few minutes walk. Limited rural bus service available.

The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 15:30 and the normal departure time is 10:00. Short break weekend and midweek self catering holidays are available from 30th October 2017 to 21st December 2017, 5th January 2018 to 8th February 2018, 16th February 2018 to 22nd March 2018 and 26th October 2018 to 20th December 2018.

Worth Matravers is a pretty rural village within a short walk of the sea on the Southern side of Purbeck in Dorset. This charming and traditional village boasts a village duck pond, a historic church, attractive stone cottages and a renowned local public house (Square and Compass Public House) which has a calendar of traditional village activities including stone carving and pumpkin growing.
The coastline below Worth Matravers is well known for the dramatic landscape and abundance of wildlife. It is a popular spot with walkers who stop off while walking along the coastal path and some take the time to have a swim.
It's for anyone who likes to live life adventurously - you don’t have to be a seasoned explorer to enjoy a Go Ape experience! Go Ape offers up to three hours of tree top fun. It’s a great way to get outdoors and have some fun. The Moors Valley GoApe Country Park is within a 40min drive of Purbeck and is a great day out for the whole family. goape.co.uk
The Isle of Purbeck is a peninsular of land located in the South of Dorset and is famous for its sandy beaches, beautiful countryside and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site. The sea surrounds Purbeck on three sides and nowhere is for from the coast. Apart from the small town of Swanage, the Isle of Purbeck is made up of small rural hamlets and traditional villages.
The North side of Purbeck is dominated by a wooded and heathland nature reserve and where it meets the water of Poole Harbour it attracts a great deal of bird life. The East coast of Purbeck is known for the two long sandy beaches at Studland and Swanage but also for the limestone pillars at Old Harry's Rocks. Along the South Coast is the start of the Jurassic Coast which is characterised by impressive coastal formations like Dancing Ledge and Durdle Door but also for quiet coves and peaceful beaches for swimming.
Much of Purbeck has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the vast majority of Purbeck remains in the hands of nature. This is ideal for walkers and cyclists who are free to explore large areas of countryside and take in a number of wondrous locations.

Clematis Cottage is within a short walk of the Jurassic Coast and the pretty bay of Winspit which also has the remains of a hand quarry with large caves dug into the cliffs. A footpath runs past Clematis Cottage and down to Winspit where one can join the coastal path which runs along the Jurassic Coast.

Two small or one medium sized dog is welcome. Pets are not permitted upstairs, on the furniture or in the bedrooms. We also ask owners not to allow dogs to foul the garden. A dog may be left in the cottage alone for short periods, as long as the dog is not likely to be noisy or destructive. Puppies and also dogs with incontinence problems are not permitted without specific agreement. Please ensure that your pet's treatment for the prevention of fleas is up to date.
